What is Vital Flow Infusions?
Vital Flow Infusions is a physician-owned and managed IV clinic at 119 S Main Ave in downtown Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It was founded by a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician, and registered nurses work on site. Its main service is IV therapy, including hydration drips, vitamin injections and wellness shots, and NAD+ therapy. It also offers medically supervised weight-loss medications, semaglutide and tirzepatide, along with memberships and packages. It does not name the physician who prescribes those medications.
The weight-loss program starts with a free consultation. In its own words: "Every client completes intake, current labs, clinical review, and a physician consultation before treatment, with ongoing support from our RN team." If treatment is appropriate, the physician prescribes and a separate pharmacy fills the prescription. Clients can take the medication home for a weekly self-injection or add in-office nurse administration. The clinic also offers mobile service for groups and parties. What does it cost?
Monthly semaglutide costs $199, $299, or $399, and monthly tirzepatide costs $299, $399, $499, or $599, depending on the prescribed dose. Optional weekly in-office RN support adds $75 a month. It does not say whether the monthly price includes the medication itself.
New clients can take a 90-day starter for $650 on semaglutide or $950 on tirzepatide. Established clients can buy three months at once for $550, $850, or $1,150 on semaglutide, or $850, $1,150, $1,450, or $1,750 on tirzepatide, depending on dose. What should you ask before you book?
Ask whether the monthly fee covers the medication, and what the separate pharmacy charges on top of it. Ask which pharmacy fills the prescription and whether the medication is brand-name or compounded. When compounding is appropriate, a physician writes a client-specific prescription for that pharmacy. Ask which physician would prescribe for you, since it does not name one. Ask how the program is canceled and whether there is any minimum commitment.
Current labs are required before treatment, so ask what the labs cost and how often follow-up visits are needed and billed. Ask whether consultations or follow-ups can be done by video, since it does not say. If you plan to use insurance, ask directly, because it does not say whether it accepts it.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you live in or near Sioux Falls, want physician-supervised medication with in-person nurse support, and can pay cash or use HSA or FSA funds. Get the monthly price, the cancellation terms and the prescribing physician's name in writing before you book.
