About Wound & Skin Care of Wyoming

What is Wound & Skin Care?

Wound & Skin Care centers on wound care and also offers hormone optimization, peptide therapy and medical weight loss. Christina Laird-Rogers, FNP-C, founded the practice and is its prescriber. She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with more than 25 years of nursing experience. The practice opened on September 1, 2024, and has 6 offices across the state, plus mobile wound care visits for homebound patients.

Its services are wound care for chronic and diabetic wounds, which Medicare covers, and most services need no referral. It also offers longevity and hormone care, including bioidentical hormones, peptide therapy and NAD infusions. Its medical weight loss program uses semaglutide or tirzepatide, with bloodwork, a plan and follow-up. In its own words: "Monthly check-ins, medication adjustments, and ongoing coaching." Aesthetics (Botox and fillers) and dermatology (skin cancer checks and lesion removal) round out the list.

What does it cost?

Medical weight loss starts at $100 a month, and that fee does not include the medication. Semaglutide is listed at about $100 to $200 a month for the drug, and tirzepatide at about $200 a month. There are no long-term contracts. Testosterone replacement therapy is listed at $150 to $250 a month.

Medicare is accepted for wound care. Functional medicine services, including hormones, peptides and weight loss, are cash pay. It does not say whether insurance covers weight loss or hormone care. It does not publish a consultation fee or prices for peptide or longevity services. Monthly payment plans run through Cherry, a third-party financing provider, subject to approval. Pre-qualifying does not affect your credit score.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask whether Christina Laird-Rogers, FNP-C, will see you at each follow-up or whether another provider will. Ask whether the $100 fee covers the provider only, and what the medication will cost each month on top of it. Ask whether the tirzepatide and any peptides are brand-name or compounded.

Ask what the bloodwork and follow-up visits cost, and whether they are included in the monthly fee. Ask what the consultation costs. Ask how a monthly plan is cancelled and whether any notice period or fee applies. It does not say whether telehealth is offered, so ask whether follow-up can be done by video. Finally, ask which office your visits would be at and what its hours are.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you need wound care that Medicare covers, or if you plan to pay cash for medical weight loss, hormone care or peptides and want the founder as your prescriber. It is worth a call once you have the costs above in hand.
