About epic MedSpa
What is epic MedSpa?
epic MedSpa is a med spa at 14999 Beloit Rd. in New Berlin, WI, and most of what it does is cosmetic. Its menu lists laser resurfacing, microneedling, chemical peels, Hydrafacial and body contouring. Its medical services sit under a Solutions menu: weight loss, hormone care for women and men, peptide therapy, vitamin and NAD+ injections, and hormone, metabolic and functional testing. It has been open for more than twenty years. Google lists it as a skin care clinic with a 4.9 rating from 192 reviews.
The weight loss program, called the Metabolic Reset Program, lists semaglutide, tirzepatide, retatrutide and cagrilintide among its common components. Hormone care includes bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). Telehealth runs through Epic RX Connect, which it says allows telehealth-based evaluation and nationwide access. No prescriber is named. No physician or nurse practitioner is identified as the person who writes prescriptions.
What does it cost?
It publishes two prices. Its lab panels start at $299, and a Functional Medicine Consultation is $150. It does not publish prices for weight loss, hormone or peptide care. In its own words: "Pricing and protocol duration are determined during your clinical consultation." Its testing plan describes baseline testing followed by a 3-month follow-up, and it does not say what that follow-up costs. It also does not say whether medication is included in any price, whether insurance is accepted, or how membership and cancellation work.
What should you ask before you book?
Start with the prescription. Ask for the name and credentials of the clinician who would sign it, and whether that person is licensed in your state if you would be seen by telehealth. Ask whether a monthly program fee includes medication or whether drugs are billed separately. Ask whether each drug is brand-name or compounded, which pharmacy fills it, and whether it is approved for the purpose it is being offered for. The peptide list is long, so ask about each one you are considering.
Then ask what follow-up visits and lab work will cost over the first year, and whether the consultation fee is credited toward a program. Ask whether insurance is accepted and whether an HSA card or financing can pay for care. Finally, ask how cancellation works, whether you can stop partway through a program, and whether any prepaid amount is refunded.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want aesthetic treatments and a weight loss, hormone or peptide program from the same clinic, you are comfortable with telehealth, and you are ready to pay out of pocket once you have written answers about the prescriber, the medication and the full monthly cost. If you need a named prescriber or published program prices before you decide, wait until you have them.
