About Freyja Aesthetics

What is Freyja Aesthetics?

Freyja Aesthetics is a physician-led med spa at 911 Main St, Suite 15, in Vancouver, Washington. Most of its work is aesthetic: Botox and Xeomin wrinkle relaxers, dermal fillers, lip filler, facial contouring, microneedling, skin rejuvenation and exosome therapy. Medical weight loss is one of its nine services. In its own words: "refined, natural-looking results that help you look refreshed, never overdone."

Dr. Tonya Kennedy, MD, is the only prescriber named. She is a board-certified physician with more than 20 years of medical experience and nearly a decade in aesthetic medicine. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology from Stanford University and a Doctor of Medicine from Oregon Health & Science University. The aesthetic treatments name Xeomin, Hyla, PDRN, VAMP, Versa+ and Belotero Balance. The weight loss program uses a GLP-1 / GIP medication, but no specific drug is named.

Visits are by appointment only, and payment is taken at the time of service. Parking on site is complimentary at the 9th/Broadway entrance. You can call or text 360-921-4761. Google shows a 5 rating from 11 reviews, and the category is medical spa.

What does it cost?

Medical weight loss runs $250 to $350 per month, depending on dose. That covers one 50-minute in-person or virtual medical consultation, monthly check-ins and a prescription for 6 months. The medication is billed separately and is not included in the monthly price. Insurance is not mentioned, and no consultation fee is stated for the weight loss program.

Aesthetic prices are set per unit or per treatment. Xeomin is $11 per unit, and a lip flip alone is $75. Microneedling with Hyla serum is $300 per full face treatment or $800 for a package of 3. Full face and neck is $400 per treatment or $1100 for a package of 3. PDRN and VAMP are add-ons at $80 and $125 per syringe. The regenerative treatment with exosomes and PDRN is $500 for the full face and $600 for the full face and neck. Lip filler is $600 per syringe or $375 for a half syringe. Belotero Balance for fine lines is $600 per syringe. The clinic does not publish cancellation terms for its monthly program.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who writes the prescription and who handles the monthly check-ins, since Dr. Kennedy is the only prescriber named. Ask which GLP-1 or GIP medication is used and whether it is brand-name or compounded, because no specific drug is named. Ask what the medication costs each month at each dose, since the $250 to $350 excludes it. Ask how a dose is chosen and whether the monthly price changes with it.

Ask whether follow-up visits or lab work cost extra, and what happens when the 6 month prescription period ends. Ask how to cancel a monthly program, because no terms are published. Ask whether the clinic takes insurance, and whether aesthetic visits carry a consultation fee. Hours are not listed, so ask when the office is open.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want injectables or skin treatments from a physician in Vancouver and are comfortable paying cash at each visit. If medical weight loss is your main reason to call, get the full monthly cost, including the medication, in writing before you book.
