What is Beauty WoRx?
Beauty WoRx is mainly an aesthetic practice at 2201 North 30th Street Suite B, Tacoma, WA 98403. The phone number is 253-345-4470. Most of what it offers is cosmetic: injectables, fillers, biostimulators, Kybella®, laser treatments, facials, microneedling, chemical peels, PDO MINT™ Thread Lift, LED light therapy and BOTOX® Parties. Weight loss is one of its wellness services, listed beside vitamin boosts and IV infusions.
The weight loss program uses GLP-1 medications, and two are named: semaglutide and tirzepatide. Dr. Elizabeth Hughes is the one person named as prescriber. No credential is given beside her name. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8AM to 6PM, Saturday from 9AM to 4PM, and Sunday by appointment only. It does not say how long it has been open or whether any care is offered by video. Google shows it at 5 stars from 109 reviews, in the category weight loss service.
What does it cost?
Semaglutide is $299 for 4 weeks, and tirzepatide is $349 for 4 weeks. It does not say whether the medication is included in that price. It does not publish a consultation fee, and it does not say whether insurance is accepted.
Its memberships apply to aesthetic treatments and skincare, not weight loss. The Baby Boujie Club is $149 a month and the Boujie Luxe Club is $249 a month. On membership terms, it says in its own words: "Membership terms apply, but your funds remain available to use toward eligible treatments and products." Financing under the name Glow Now, Pay Later is offered through partners it does not name.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who signs the prescription and whether you will see Dr. Hughes in person before one is written. Ask whether the $299 or $349 covers only the medication or the visits too, and whether the medication is brand-name or compounded. Ask whether the program is billed every 4 weeks or monthly over a longer stretch, and how long you must stay in it. Ask what consultations, follow-up visits and lab work cost, and whether insurance or an HSA can pay for any of it. Ask whether a video visit is possible, and how cancellation works, including whether a contract is required.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want GLP-1 medication from an in-person Tacoma clinic that also does cosmetic work, and you are ready to pay cash. If you need every fee published up front or insurance billing, get answers to the questions above before you commit.
