What is Simplicity Med Spa?
Simplicity Med Spa is a medical aesthetics practice at 5025 25th Ave NE #104 in Seattle, WA 98105. Its main work is injectables, skin treatments and laser services. Weight management is one of twelve services it lists, along with wrinkle relaxers, dermal fillers, lip enhancement, muscle toning, skin tightening, skin resurfacing, laser hair removal, facials and chemical peels, biostimulators and hair regrowth. The office is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 AM to 5 PM, and on every other Saturday from 11 AM to 3 PM. Google lists it as a medical spa, with a 4.9 rating from 102 reviews.
Deb, the founder, is an ARNP and the only person the clinic presents as a prescriber. She practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner for over 18 years before moving into aesthetics. The rest of the team includes a registered nurse, an aesthetician, and two staff members in client support and operations who do not prescribe. The weight management program names Semaglutide and Tirzepatide as GLP-1 medications the clinic may prescribe, depending on your goals. The clinic sets its own BMI thresholds for who qualifies, and a consultation decides fit.
What does it cost?
Consultations are free. New clients get 15% off their first treatment, and the office offers free onsite parking. The clinic does not publish prices for weight loss medication or for its other treatments. Prices appear only when you click Book Now. On the weight program, it says: "You only pay for medication, if prescribed." It does not say what that medication costs, whether it is included in any monthly fee, or what follow-up visits and lab work cost. It also does not state whether it accepts insurance, and it says nothing about membership terms or cancellation.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the weight medication prescription. The weight management page refers only to "our Nurse Practitioner" and does not name the prescriber. Ask whether Deb will see you at each visit or whether another clinician will.
Ask for the monthly cost of Semaglutide or Tirzepatide, and whether the medication is brand-name or compounded. Ask whether any monthly fee covers the medication, and what follow-up visits and lab work cost.
Ask whether visits are in person only. The program page describes stopping by the spa, but it does not say whether any visits happen by video.
Ask whether the clinic bills insurance, and how to cancel if you stop. Ask which BMI thresholds apply to you and what happens if you do not qualify.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you already want injectable or skin treatments and want weight management from the same office, and you are prepared to pay for medication out of pocket. If you need a published price or confirmed insurance billing before you commit, get those answers first, either by phone at 206-643-5325 or in writing before you book.
