About Flow Wellness

What is Flow Wellness?

Flow Wellness is a medical wellness clinic with offices in Bend, Oregon and Seattle, Washington. Its main focus is GLP-1 weight loss. It also offers hormone therapy, peptide therapy, IV therapy, ketamine therapy, body composition scans and longevity care. It names Redmond, Sisters and Sunriver as towns it covers around Bend. In its own words: "Get care in person in Bend or Seattle, or by telehealth across Oregon, Washington, and California."

Dr. Kevin Jones, MD, is the one prescriber named. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Other team members are named without credentials, and it does not say which clinicians see patients in Seattle. The medications named include Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound, Mounjaro, Foundayo and metformin, and it offers compounded, oral and brand-name options. On Google it has a 4.9 rating from 39 reviews, listed as a weight loss service.

What does it cost?

The GLP-1 program has two published price ranges. The compounded medication program runs $224 to $499 a month. The manufacturer-direct program runs $124 to $149 a month, and the medication costs extra on top of that. It says there are no hidden fees and that all supplies are included. In its own words: "Continuous clinician support with monthly follow-ups and unlimited direct provider messaging." One page also gives a starting price of $249 a month, which does not match the $224 low end, so confirm which figure applies.

It does not publish a consultation fee. It does not say whether insurance is accepted, whether the compounded price includes the medication, or how membership cancellation works. It does not publish prices for hormone therapy, peptides, IV therapy or ketamine.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask whether the monthly fee covers the medication. The manufacturer-direct price does not, and the compounded price does not say. Ask whether your medication would be compounded, oral or brand-name, and what each one costs each month. Ask who signs your prescription and whether Dr. Jones will prescribe for you, especially if you would be seen in Seattle.

Ask what the consultation costs, and what lab work and follow-up visits add beyond the monthly fee. Ask whether insurance is accepted. Ask how the program is canceled and whether anything is charged afterward. Ask for office hours, since none are listed. If you plan to use telehealth, confirm that you live in Oregon, Washington or California.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you are paying cash for medical weight loss, hormone care or peptides, want a physician named as your prescriber, and will get the medication, lab costs and cancellation terms in writing before you pay. If you need insurance billing or published prices for every service, call first and get those answers before you book.
