About OneStop Medical Services

What is OneStop Medical Services?

OneStop Medical Services is mainly a family medicine clinic with offices in Kent and Bellevue, Washington. Its listed prescribers are Payal Shah, MD, Paul Tromba, PA, Sharndeep Chokar, PA, Xan Layugan, NP, and Jamie Chinnick, NP. Primary care is its core service. It also offers preventive care, sports physicals, women's health and birth control management, DOT exams, immigration physicals, several skin procedures, and medical weight loss. Google lists it as a medical clinic with a 4.6 rating from 491 reviews.

The weight loss page says the clinic uses GLP-1 treatments, but it names no specific medication and does not say which prescriber handles that care. Virtual Visits are offered. Staff speak English, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, French and Spanish. Both offices list hours of 8:00AM to 6:00PM, Monday through Friday. The clinic does not list hormone therapy, peptide therapy or longevity medicine.

This listing is for its Kent office at 1314 Central Ave S # 102.

What does it cost?

It does not publish prices for weight loss care, for medication, or for a first consultation. Its published prices cover immigration and DOT work. An I-693 for a refugee or K visa holder is $275 without immunity checks. The I-693 is listed at $375 with insurance and $450 without it. A DOT exam is $135. Blood tests for immunity to MMR, varicella and hepatitis B are $75 each or $225 for all three. Office visits and Virtual Visits are listed as based on insurance, with no set price.

The clinic accepts insurance and lists many plans, including Cigna, Aetna and Medicare. It asks patients to confirm network status with their insurer first. It also says it cares for self-pay patients and offers financing, without describing the terms.

What should you ask before you book?

Call (253) 397-8683 and ask which medication you would be prescribed, and whether it is brand-name or compounded. Ask which of the five prescribers would manage your weight loss care, and whether it can start with a Virtual Visit or needs an in-person visit first. Ask what the first consultation costs, what each follow-up visit and lab test costs, and whether any of those prices include the medication. Ask how to cancel, since no cancellation policy is listed. Ask how the Optifast program differs from the GLP-1 care, since it appears on the services list with no description or price.

Two more points need checking. The immigration section of the services page shows a price for an I-693 with insurance, but the same section says no insurance is accepted for that service. Confirm which price applies before you pay. The clinic also says its team has offered consultations for over 16 years, but that sentence refers to mental health consultations. Ask how long it has offered medical weight loss.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want a family practice that handles weight loss, immigration exams and DOT exams under one roof, and you are ready to confirm the medication, the prescriber and the total cost before you book. It is not a match if you are looking for hormone, peptide or longevity medicine, which the clinic does not list.
