About Alive and Thriving Healthcare, LLC

What is Alive and Thriving Healthcare, LLC?

Alive and Thriving Healthcare, LLC is a cash-pay clinic at 4345 New Town Ave, Ste 200 C, Williamsburg, VA 23188. Its listed hours are 10:00 am to 05:00 pm. The prescribers it names are Dr. Jennie Drahushuk, DNP, Dr. Nakita Brown, DNP, Dr. Kimberly Milliff, DO, and Melissa Kistner, FNP.

Its core services are medical weight loss, hormone therapy (BHRT-Biote) and peptides. It also offers IV therapy, pain care, sick visits, mental health and health coaching, and it uses the word longevity in its Optimize membership tier. The weight loss menu names compounded semaglutide, tirzepatide and liraglutide, plus two semorelin products. It asks outright whether it is direct primary care, a med spa, concierge medicine or functional medicine. Health coaching can be done by video on HIPAA compliant Zoom. Google lists the practice with a 5 rating from 19 reviews.

What does it cost?

The medical weight loss program has two options: $375 every 28 days with weekly in-clinic injections, or $325 every 28 days with monthly visits in clinic or by Zoom and the medication shipped to you. The medication is included in both. Its price list also shows compounded medications from $85 to $235 a month, and says those are added on top of the membership cost.

Initial lab panels are $150, for women and for men. The hormone section lists a 30 minute consultation at $100. It does not publish pellet, peptide or health coaching prices. It does not say whether it bills insurance for weight loss or hormone visits, though health coaching appointments are coded so you may submit them to insurance for possible reimbursement. It publishes no cancellation or commitment terms.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask whether the $325 or $375 includes your medication. Its weight loss pricing says it does, but its compounded price list says those costs sit on top of membership. Get one answer in writing.

Ask which medication you would get, compounded or brand-name, and what each costs. Brand-name medications are prescribed for members, so ask what you would pay the pharmacy. Ask who signs your prescription and whether you see the same prescriber each time.

Ask what the membership costs on its own, when it starts (the clinic lists March 1, 2026), and how to cancel. Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost after the first panel, and what happens if your labs come back outside the range the clinic wants.

Ask about peptides. Its peptide listings show the figures 154 and 429 beside two skin products with no dollar sign, so ask what those are and what injectable peptides cost.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you can get to Williamsburg or use the clinic's video visits, want a named prescriber managing a weight loss, hormone or peptide plan, and can pay cash every month. If you need insurance to cover the visits, or you want a flat price for hormone or peptide care, get those numbers in writing before you book. In its own words: "This is about being healthy... not skinny."
