What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the weight loss prescription and whether you will see that person at each visit. The clinic names physicians and nurse practitioners in general, but not the prescriber for this program.
Ask whether the monthly fee includes the medication or whether the drug is billed on top of it. Ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded, and how that affects the cost.
Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost. It orders and draws baseline labs, but it does not say what those labs cost.
Ask which visits can be done by telemedicine and which need you in the office, and what happens if you cannot make an in-person visit.
Ask how to cancel a program, how much notice is required, and whether any fee applies if you leave early.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a family practice that handles routine care and weight loss under one roof, and you are comfortable asking for prices before you commit. It is a weaker fit if you need a published fee in writing before you pick up the phone.
