What is D’NuVi Wellness & Hydration?
D’NuVi Wellness & Hydration is a concierge practice that delivers care to homes, offices and private events across Hampton Roads. It calls itself a board-certified NP-led concierge brand, and telehealth visits are offered too. Its five services are Wellness IVs and Shots, FLOW Weight & Metabolic Health, Menopause Midlife Reset, Botox (neurotoxins) and Corporate Wellness. IV hydration and vitamin injections come first in its own description, so weight management is one service among several.
Danita Mitchell, APRN, FNP-C, MSN, is the one prescriber named. Her bio lists over 15 years of clinical background in chronic disease management and medication management. In its own words: "Designed for busy professionals who want convenient, clinically guided care without the guesswork." It does not publish a street address. It lists 757-720-2544 as its phone number, and it is listed on Google in Newport News with a rating of 5 from 40 reviews. Hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9am to 7pm, Wednesday 9am to 5pm, Friday 9am to 4pm, and Saturday by appointment only. It is closed Sunday, and after-hours visits are booked by phone only.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices, and it does not state a consultation fee. It also does not say whether medication is included in any program. Its terms say payment is due at booking or service and that prices may change without notice. It accepts credit and debit cards, FSA and HSA cards, Apple Pay, Cash App, Zelle, Afterpay, Klarna, Amazon Pay, ACH and cash. It does not take personal checks. Afterpay and Klarna are the two payment-over-time options listed. It says FSA and HSA eligibility may vary by plan and service, so confirm with your plan administrator. It does not say whether it accepts insurance. Digital gift cards are also sold.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who signs the prescription for the service you want, and whether Danita Mitchell will be your provider. Its terms say some services need medical screening, labs or provider approval, and that eligibility is decided after clinical review. Ask what screening and labs are required, and what they cost.
For FLOW, ask which medication is used, whether it is brand-name or compounded, and whether the program price includes it. It names no specific medication. For Midlife Reset, ask whether hormone therapy is part of the plan, since it does not describe hormone therapy directly. Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost, and whether a telehealth visit costs the same as an in-person one. Ask whether it will bill your insurance at all. Finally, ask about cancellation. Its terms say missed appointments may incur fees, but they give no amount and no notice period.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want NP-led IV, injection or weight care brought to your home or office in Newport News, Hampton, York County, Williamsburg, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk or Virginia Beach, and you are ready to pay cash, use an FSA or HSA card, or use a payment plan. It says it does not replace emergency care, primary care, gynecology or specialist care, so keep those in place.
