About Radiant Health and Wellness, LLC
What is Radiant Health and Wellness, LLC?
Radiant Health and Wellness, LLC is a women's health and primary care clinic at 2900 Old Forest Road, Suite B, in Lynchburg, Virginia. Its main work is gynecology and primary care for women. Weight management and hormone therapy are two of its services, along with STI testing and treatment, care for women's health conditions, and well woman care.
Grace Kamau, DNP, WHNP-BC, MSCP is the only prescriber named. She is a board-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and a Menopause Society certified practitioner. She founded the practice and reports over 15 years of healthcare experience in women's health, primary care, and preventive services.
The weight management program is medically supervised and includes prescription ordering and monthly check-ins. The clinic names two medications, semaglutide sublingual and tirzepatide sublingual. Its hormone services include FDA-approved bioidentical hormone therapy and conventional HRT. Visits are in person in Lynchburg or by telehealth in Virginia and Washington. Google shows a 5 rating from 21 reviews.
What does it cost?
A new patient visit is $160 and a follow-up visit is $110. Neither covers imaging or outside lab work. The clinic also sells a membership for women only: a $75 enrollment fee, then $59 a month for ages 13 to 17, $69 for ages 18 to 39, $89 for ages 40 to 65, or $109 for ages 65 and up. Membership does not replace insurance and can be canceled at any time with 30-day notice. Menopause care packages run $565, $795, or $895, and lifestyle coaching is $125 a session. In its own words: "Prescriptions are not included in pricing."
It does not publish prices for weight loss medication or hormone therapy. It also does not say whether a GLP-1 medication is part of any fee. It lists Medicare as an accepted insurance and offers cash pay. It says it provides written Good Faith Estimates on request.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask whether the monthly fee includes the weight loss medication, and what that medication costs each month, since prescriptions are outside the listed pricing. Ask whether the semaglutide or tirzepatide is brand-name or compounded. Ask who writes the prescription and how often you would see her. Ask what monthly check-ins and follow-up lab work cost, because outside labs and imaging are extra. Ask which insurance plans besides Medicare cover weight or hormone visits, and how you cancel. Confirm the address when you call, since some of the clinic's online listing details show a street in Altavista, VA.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you are a woman who wants gynecology, primary care, and menopause care from one nurse practitioner, and you are willing to pay cash for prescriptions and get medication costs in writing before you start.
