Dr. Crystal Alexander, DNP, FNP-C, is the prescriber named for this clinic. The clinic cites over 12 years in nursing and 7 years practicing as an NP. The weight loss program names GLP-1, GLP-1/GIP, Phentermine, Naltrexone and Topamax. It includes baseline labs, monthly follow-ups with the provider, health coaching and a month's supply of medication. In its own words: "Our medically supervised weight loss program is overseen by our healthcare provider."

What does it cost?

It does not publish prices for the weight loss program or for BHRT. The consultation fee is $50, and the clinic applies it to your selected service if you buy that service the same day as your consultation. A consultation is required for all new weight loss clients.

The membership plans have published prices, but they cover IV drips, injections and neurotoxin, not the weight loss program. Injection plans run $85, $180 or $200 a month. IV plans run $150 or $300 a month. The Tox plan costs $375 upfront, then $175 a month on autopay with a 12-month commitment. Memberships have no rollover or transfers and are not redeemable for cash. The Tox plan requires 30 day written cancellation notice after the initial 12 month commitment.

The clinic does not accept insurance. It accepts HSA/FSA, Care Credit, credit and debit cards, and cash, and it offers a payment plan through Cherry.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask whether the weight loss program's price includes the medication. The clinic does not say whether GLP-1 medication is included in any price. Ask which medications you would receive, whether they are brand-name or compounded, and what each month costs.

Ask who writes your prescriptions and who manages your care between visits. Ask what monthly follow-ups, baseline labs and ongoing lab work cost, since those are not published. Ask for the cost of the BHRT consultation, lab evaluation and follow-up visits.

Ask what the telemedicine service covers and whether any part of your care can be done remotely. Ask how you cancel the weight loss program and whether it has a minimum term. The clinic recommends at least three months. If you were looking for peptide or longevity therapy, the services list includes neither.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want a medically supervised weight loss program or BHRT from a nurse practitioner, at an office that also offers cosmetic and wellness services, and you are able to pay cash, through HSA/FSA or with financing.
