What is Riposo Medical Spa?

Riposo Medical Spa is a medical spa at 415 N Main Street in Spanish Fork, UT 84660. Most of what it offers is aesthetic: Botox and filler, laser treatments, facials and peels, awake liposuction with fat transfer, and laser hair and tattoo removal. Two of its services are medical. It runs a physician-guided weight loss program using semaglutide, oral phentermine, or both, and it offers testosterone replacement therapy (TRT).

The only prescriber the clinic names is Dr. Renny McDaniel, M.D. Its weight loss page says another team member may help build your plan, but no one else is named as a prescriber. It has a 4.9 Google rating from 100 reviews.

What does it cost?

Most prices are monthly. Weight Loss Plan C, oral phentermine, is $100 a month. Plan B, semaglutide injections, is $450 a month. Plan A, semaglutide plus oral phentermine, is $499 a month. The TRT membership is $100 a month, and the TRT Ultimate plan, which combines weight loss injections with TRT, is $499 a month. The Beauty Banking Loyalty Plan is $149 a month with a three month minimum. Treatment prices for the aesthetic services are not given as figures.

The consultation fee conflicts across plans. Plan C lists a $200 consultation fee due at the first appointment, while Plans A and B and the TRT membership list a free consultation. Ask which one applies to you. The clinic does not say whether medication is included in the monthly plan prices, and it publishes no insurance information. It lists payment plans, but their terms are not described.

In its own words: "You may cancel either plan/membership with a 30 day notice, but any Loyalty Plans with remaining money will need to be used towards the skincare and injection services offered at Riposo Medical Spa." Appointments need 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask whether the monthly fee covers the medication or whether the prescription is billed separately. Ask whether the semaglutide and phentermine are brand-name or compounded, and which pharmacy fills them, since the clinic does not say. Ask what lab work and follow-up visits cost, because the plans include routine labs as needed but give no price. Ask whether the $200 consultation fee applies to you, and whether insurance can be billed at all. Ask what notice you need to give to cancel a weight loss plan, since the published cancellation terms cover appointments and loyalty plans. Finally, ask which hours the office keeps, because the only listed hours are a call or text line, and whether you will see Dr. McDaniel at each visit.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want a physician-prescribed weight loss or testosterone program that you pay for in cash each month, and you would like aesthetic treatments in the same office.
