About G.O.A.T. Athletic Spa

What is G.O.A.T. Athletic Spa?

G.O.A.T. Athletic Spa is a med spa in South Jordan, Utah, that offers medical services alongside cosmetic ones. The medical side covers weight loss with tirzepatide, testosterone therapy given by injection or as a pellet, peptide therapy, blood panels and DEXA scans. The rest of the menu is cosmetic or wellness: laser hair removal, Botox and Dysport, hair restoration, D-Shots and G-Shots, vitamin shots and teeth whitening.

The peptides it names are Sermorelin, GHK-Cu, PT-141, glutathione and NAD+. It does not publish a street address or phone number. Its hours are Monday through Thursday, 9am to 7pm, and Friday and Saturday, 9am to 5pm. Google lists it as a weight loss service, with a 4.9 rating from 266 reviews.

What does it cost?

The testosterone membership is $249 a month for men and $199 a month for women, after an initial $99 fee. According to its membership description, the monthly fee covers the testosterone itself. The membership carries a 6 month minimum commitment, then becomes month-to-month and can be cancelled at any time.

It does not publish a weight loss price. Its subscription plans come with deeper discounts off the month-to-month price, a free monthly vitamin shot and a free quarterly DEXA scan, but no dollar figures are given for them. Peptides and the other services have no published prices either. The first consultation is complimentary and described as no-obligation.

It does not say it takes insurance, and it does not state whether HSA or FSA cards are accepted. Its payment plans run through Cherry, which it offers in-house.

What should you ask before you book?

Start with who signs the prescription. The clinic does not name a prescriber for any program. For weight loss, it says "you will only be meeting with Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses," so ask who writes and signs the prescription and what that person's license is.

Next, ask whether the tirzepatide is the brand-name product or a compounded version. The weight loss page describes "custom GLP-1 medications," which is worth asking about directly. Then ask whether the medication is included in the weight loss price, since the clinic has not said so.

Ask what follow-up costs. The weight loss program schedules a check-in every 4 weeks, and prescriptions usually take about a week to fill. Ask what each visit, lab panel and refill costs, and how the peptides are prescribed and priced.

Confirm the location too. One page title names Herriman, Utah, while the booking button names South Jordan. Ask for the exact address and which office you would visit.

Finally, ask whether any part of the care can be done by video or phone. The testosterone follow-up can be done by phone, but the clinic does not say whether the whole program can be done remotely. Ask how cancellation works for weight loss, since those terms are not published.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want testosterone therapy or weight loss and you are comfortable with a med spa that also offers cosmetic treatments. If you need a named prescriber, a published weight loss price or an answer on insurance before you pay, get those answers first.
