About Empathetix Wellness

What is Empathetix Wellness?

Empathetix Wellness has offices in Ogden, Millcreek, South Jordan and Provo, and it offers care by telehealth statewide. Cannabis care came first. The clinic calls itself "Utah’s Largest Medical Cannabis and Wellness Clinic" and says it was built on 6+ years of cannabis care before adding other treatments. Its services are medical cannabis cards, a weight loss program, hormone replacement therapy, ketamine therapy and IV drip therapy.

The weight loss program names semaglutide, tirzepatide and phentermine. In its own words: "Clinically guided weight loss using prescription medications and ongoing provider support." The clinic does not name a prescriber, and it does not list a street address or office hours. Google lists it as a medical clinic with a 4.9 rating from 318 reviews.

What does it cost?

Weight loss prices are given as ranges. Semaglutide injections run $119 to $289, and tirzepatide injections run $199 to $489. Phentermine is $50, vitamin B12 is $15 and skinny shots are $29. The clinic does not say whether these are per week or per month, or whether the medication is included. Free consultations are offered.

It does not publish prices for hormone replacement therapy. It says its pricing reflects provider involvement, monitoring and treatment choice, but it gives no figures. Cannabis card prices are not listed either, though it notes no transfer fees and no expired card fees on renewals. It does not say whether it accepts insurance, and it does not give cancellation terms.

What should you ask before you book?

Start with the prescriber. Ask who writes the prescription for semaglutide, tirzepatide or phentermine, and what training that person has. Ask whether the injections are brand-name or compounded, and whether the same is true of the skinny shots. Ask whether the price includes the medication and whether you pay weekly or monthly.

Then ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost, since its hormone care description mentions routine follow-ups and monitoring. Ask whether telehealth visits cost the same as in-person visits, and which office you would be seen at. Ask for a hormone therapy price before your consultation, whether it bills insurance, and how cancellation works. Its banner says it will price match competitors, so ask what that promise covers. Some of its pages describe massages and facials, which do not fit with its medical services, so confirm which treatments you would actually book.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want weight loss, hormone or cannabis care in Ogden, Millcreek, South Jordan or Provo, or by telehealth, and you are comfortable getting the prescriber's name, the medication terms and the full price, including medication, in writing before you pay. It is a weaker fit if you need a published hormone price or an insurance answer before you book.

We have not yet collected published prices or prescriber credentials for this clinic. When we do, they will appear here with a link to the page they came from — or a note saying the clinic publishes none, which is itself worth knowing. Call them for a price in the meantime.
