Wasatch Medical Clinic and Wellness Center is a clinic at 235 West 9000 South, Sandy, UT 84070. It is mainly a general medical and aesthetic office. She is licensed in Utah and California and has 20+ years of experience in emergency medicine, aesthetics, urgent care and family practice.
What does it cost?
The weight program does not publish a monthly price, and it does not say whether medication is included in the program cost. The initial consultation is $85. The weight management page says that fee is waived when you join the monthly program. The home page says it applies to your monthly plan. Ask which is correct.
Other fees are listed. Office visits and DOT exams are $85, pre-employment physicals are $65, and sports physicals are $25. Sleep apnea testing is $375, and insurance may cover up to $275 of that visit. Neurotoxin and filler prices are not given. Payment is by cash, debit or major credit card, and it is due at the time of the appointment.
Insurance is where the clinic's information conflicts. The home page says the clinic is now accepting insurance and lists Medicare, UHC Commercial, CIGNA Commercial, DMBA and PEHP. The About page and FAQ say the clinic does not accept insurance. The About page reads: "we do not accept insurance or Medicaid/Medicare at this time." The FAQ says the clinic can bill insurance for lab work. The terms ask for 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule, and a cancellation fee may apply. Membership commitment and cancellation terms for the monthly program are not stated.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who signs the prescription and whether it will be Wanda Solorio. Ask whether the monthly fee includes the medication, and what a full month costs with it. Ask whether the semaglutide or tirzepatide is brand-name or compounded, since the clinic does not say. Ask which insurance applies today, and whether labs are billed to insurance. Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost, whether telehealth is offered, and what the monthly commitment and cancellation terms are.
The hours also differ between sources. The weight management page lists Tuesday and Wednesday from 11:00 am to 04:00 pm and Thursday from 10:00 am to 02:00 pm. Confirm the hours at 801-893-2682 before you go.
