About Monarch Healthcare Solutions
What is Monarch Healthcare Solutions?
Monarch Healthcare Solutions is a cash-pay concierge medicine practice with offices in Riverton, Utah, and Wenatchee, Washington. The Utah office is listed in Riverton, though its own copy also names South Jordan. Dr. Tara Anderson, ARNP, DNP, FNP-BC, is the prescriber. In its own words: "Dr. Anderson is not a physician." She is a nurse practitioner.
Most of what the practice offers centers on hormone, peptide and chronic care. Its four services are bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), clinical peptides, medical services, and medical aesthetics such as Xeomin, Ultherapy and RF microneedling. Telehealth is available. It describes itself as helping patients thrive for more than 15 years, and its Google listing shows a rating of 5 from 4 reviews. It does not treat acute illness.
This listing is for its Riverton office at 13222 Tree Sparrow Dr,Ste R-215.
What does it cost?
The Establish Care Visit is $400, and half of that is a nonrefundable booking fee. Monthly membership is $200 a month for adults, or $50 a month for anyone under 18 enrolled with an adult in the same household. Members get up to two appointments a month. Extra visits cost $400 for 60 minutes or $200 for 30 minutes, and pay per visit starts at $200. The membership does not cover BHRT, peptide therapy, injections, lab testing or medications. Exclusions apply to HSA and FSA accounts. In its own words: "Memberships DO NOT replace Health Coverage and do not meet MEC requirements." It does not take insurance. It does not publish prices for BHRT, peptides or weight loss care, and it does not say whether medication is included in any price.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask which address you will be seen at, since the clinic names two Utah towns. Ask who writes and signs each prescription, and whether Dr. Anderson handles every visit. For hormone and peptide care, ask which products are used, whether they are brand-name or compounded, and what they cost, because the membership leaves them out. Ask which weight loss medication is used, since none is named, and what it costs on top of the membership. Ask whether follow-up visits and lab work are billed separately. Ask how a membership is canceled and whether there is a commitment period, because those terms are not stated. Ask for office hours, which are not listed.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you already have a primary care provider for acute illness and want ongoing chronic condition, hormone or peptide care that you pay for yourself. It does not fit if you need care for an acute illness, since the practice does not provide that.
