About Emmalee Wellness Clinic

What is Emmalee Wellness Clinic?

Emmalee Wellness Clinic is a medical weight management practice at 1670 UT-165, Suite 12, Providence, UT 84332. The phone number is (435) 776-4269. It serves Logan and Cache Valley, including North Logan, Hyde Park, Smithfield, River Heights, Nibley, Millville, Hyrum and Wellsville. Visits are by appointment, and no hours are listed. The company is based in Roseburg, Oregon, where a separate clinic offers massage, IV hydration, hormone therapy and anti-aging treatments. This Providence office offers none of those, and it does not list peptide therapy.

The first visit takes about an hour with a registered nurse. During that visit, a physician evaluates you by telehealth from the Providence clinic, and a first injection may be given that day if it is appropriate. The practice does not name the physician who prescribes or the nurse. The medications it names are semaglutide and tirzepatide, both compounded. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality. The company is rated 5 on Google from 2 reviews, which is a small sample. In its own words: "Medication is a tool. It can help, but it is only one part of the process."

What does it cost?

The initial consultation is $100 and takes about an hour, at the Providence clinic. Medication is priced per weekly dose, and each dose price covers the medication. Semaglutide runs $50 for 0.12 mg, $60 for 0.25 mg, $80 for 1.0 mg and $100 for 1.75 mg. Tirzepatide runs $60 for 0.5 to 1.2 mg, $80 for 2.5 mg, $100 for 5.0 mg and $120 for 7.5 mg. The practice says prices are subject to change and that your physician sets and adjusts your dose. Call (435) 776-4269 for current program pricing.

It does not say whether insurance is accepted. It also does not list HSA or financing options, membership terms or a cancellation policy, and it does not say whether the weekly nurse visits carry their own fee.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask which physician will prescribe, and whether that physician is licensed in the state where you live, since the evaluation is done by telehealth. Ask whether the weekly dose price includes the nurse visits or whether they are billed separately. Ask what compounded means for your treatment and which pharmacy prepares your medication. Ask whether any lab work is required, what it costs, and what follow-up visits cost. Ask whether insurance is billed in any way, and what you pay if it is not. Ask how the price changes when your physician moves you to a different dose. Ask whether there is a commitment period and how to stop your weekly doses. Ask for the office hours, since none are listed.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want physician-guided medical weight management with a published dose price list, a registered nurse handling weekly support, and a Cache Valley location or telehealth visits from Providence. It is also a fit only if you are comfortable with compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide. If you need hormone therapy, the Providence office does not offer it.
