About Aura Vida Health & Wellness
What is Aura Vida Health & Wellness?
Aura Vida Health & Wellness is a cash-pay clinic at 1776 Park Ave, Suite 211, in Park City, Utah. Its two medical programs are hormone therapy and medical weight loss. It also offers a long list of aesthetic and sexual wellness treatments, from neurotoxins to laser tattoo removal. The phone number is (385) 464-3980.
The weight loss program uses GLP-1 injections. The practice also lists vitamin B12 and lipo injections, plus oral medications it describes as FDA approved. Hormone therapy is bioidentical hormone replacement, given as pellets placed in the glute or hip, and it is offered in Park City and Salt Lake City.
The practice is a Hyagen Medical Certified Provider, and Google shows it at 5 from 94 reviews. The clinic does not name who prescribes. It also carries a notice that it performs stem cell therapies the FDA has not yet approved.
This listing is for its Park City office at 1776 Park Ave Ste 211.
What does it cost?
The weight loss consultation is $200, and that fee is applied to the medication cost if a medication is prescribed. Prescriptions are listed at $750 to $1000, with no time period given. It does not say whether that price includes the medication. Lab tests may be needed based on your medical history.
Hormone visits start at $299 for the first consultation without labs, then $275 for the second appointment and $250 for a lab review without labs. Pellets cost $425 per placement for women and $725 for men. That price does not include follow-up appointments, lab reviews or post pellet labs. In-office labs include $249 for a new patient or yearly panel and $79 for a thyroid check.
First responders and military personnel get $100 off each hormone visit. They also get 10% off memberships. Proof of service is required at the first appointment.
Memberships are charged monthly to a card kept on file, and the memberships page lists the monthly prices. The clinic does not say whether it takes insurance.
What should you ask before you book?
Who signs the prescription, and what are their credentials? The clinic does not name a prescriber, so ask before you pay anything. Does the $750 to $1000 cover the medication for the full period, and is that medication brand name or compounded? What labs will you need, and what will follow-up visits cost after a pellet placement? What does the membership cover, and how do you cancel? Does it take insurance, and what financing options apply? If a stem cell treatment interests you, ask what the FDA notice means for that specific treatment.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you live near Park City or Salt Lake City, plan to pay out of pocket, and want the prescriber's name and the full costs in writing before you book. It is less suited to you if you need insurance billing confirmed before you commit.
