What is Monarch Wellness?
Monarch Wellness is a medical weight loss and wellness clinic in Utah County, Utah. Weight loss is its main work. It also offers hormone therapy, body treatments, gut and metabolic health care, and nutrition and lifestyle coaching. Monarch gives both Orem and American Fork as its location, and it says it serves clients from across Utah County, including Lehi, Highland, Pleasant Grove, and Provo.
Dr Trevor Smith is the one prescriber named. Monarch does not publish his credentials. Its weight loss programs use Semaglutide and Tirzepatide, and it names Ozempic as a brand name for Semaglutide. Monarch says the medications are prescribed after an evaluation and that it does not prescribe to patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding. In its own words: "Physician-guided programs using FDA-approved medications such as Semaglutide and Tirzepatide." Its weight loss programs include telehealth consultations with licensed doctors, though it does not name the states where those are offered. Google shows Monarch at 4.2 from 10 reviews, in the category weight loss service.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices for any package, hormone therapy, or treatment. The first step is free: "It's simple: schedule a free consultation online or by phone." Monarch offers four packages, "Essence," "Elevate," "Empower," and "Empress." Memberships start with a three-month commitment, then continue month to month. It does not say whether medication is included in the "Elevate," Empower or Empress prices. It does not say whether it accepts insurance, so plan on paying cash until you confirm otherwise.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask which office you will be seen at, Orem or American Fork, and whether a telehealth visit is with the same doctor. Ask for the monthly price of each package and whether it includes the medication. Monarch says it sources Semaglutide and Tirzepatide through licensed and verified pharmacies, so ask whether each supply is brand-name or compounded. Ask Dr Trevor Smith's credentials, and who signs your prescription. Ask what lab work, body scans, and follow-up visits cost, since the assessment includes lab work and body scans. Ask how cancellation works after the three-month commitment. Finally, ask about Ultimate Medical Weight Loss, a name that appears in one of Monarch's FAQ questions and in a review.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want medication-supported weight loss with coaching and you can commit to at least three months before month-to-month terms begin. If you need a published price list before you call, wait until Monarch gives you one in writing.
