About Centex IV
What is Centex IV?
Centex IV is a cash-pay clinic with offices in Woodway, Waco and Kyle, Texas. Its main business is IV hydration and vitamin drips, which Registered Nurses administer. It also offers physician-directed weight loss with compounded semaglutide, tirzepatide and retatrutide, recovery peptides including BPC-157 and GLOW STACK (GHK-CU), NAD+ and glutathione, and microneedling skin rejuvenation. Medical direction is provided by Gleb Gendel, DO, through Guardian MD. The clinic has been in business for over 7 years under its former name, Performance Hydration Therapy Woodway, and it is rated 5 on Google from 538 reviews.
For weight loss, the process starts with an in-person first visit, followed by monthly televisits, with medication delivered to your door.
This listing is for its Woodway office at 13701 Woodway Dr Unit 615.
What does it cost?
IV prices run from $75 for a basic one-liter hydration bag to $205 for Performance Plus. Myer's Cocktail, Immunity IV and Inner Beauty are $165 each, and NAD+ is $100 per 100 mg. A vitamin can be added to the basic bag for an extra $35. First-time customers pay a $45 consultation fee.
Weight loss starts at $120 for a 10-week supply of compounded semaglutide, $185 for a 5-week supply of compounded tirzepatide, and $40 a week for retatrutide. Higher-dose pricing is quoted on request, so the starting figure may not be the price at the dose you need. It does not say whether medication is included in these prices, whether insurance is accepted, or what the membership and cancellation terms are. Peptide and glutathione prices are not published.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who signs your prescription. The clinic names Gleb Gendel, DO, as medical director, but does not say who writes individual weight loss prescriptions or who reviews them over time. Ask whether the monthly fee includes the medication, and what the price is at the dose you would need. Ask which compounding pharmacy supplies the medication and how it differs from the brand-name version.
Ask what follow-up visits, lab work and dosage changes cost, and how a cancellation works. Ask whether the first visit must be in person and how often you would need to come in after that, since retatrutide is listed as done in store. Ask whether insurance is accepted, and whether walk-ins are taken at each office, because no hours are published.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want IV hydration or a physician-directed weight loss program with monthly televisits, and you are comfortable paying cash for compounded medication. It is a weaker fit if you need published hours and full pricing before you call, or if you expect the starting price to be the whole cost.
