About Austin Face & Body

What is Austin Face & Body?

Austin Face & Body is mainly a plastic surgery practice. Most of its menu covers eyelid, facial, breast, body and nose surgery, along with a medical spa and hair restoration. Weight loss and hormone therapy are two of its services.

It has offices in West Lake Hills, Austin, Round Rock and New Braunfels. The weight loss program uses two prescription medications, semaglutide and tirzepatide. The clinic describes semaglutide as a GLP-1 agonist and tirzepatide as a GIP/GLP-1 co-agonist. After an initial consultation, eligible patients get a one-month supply with a dosing schedule that steps the dose up over time. The practice works with a compounding pharmacy. Check-ins come monthly, and after six months there is a repeat consultation with a lab draw if needed. An initial lab draw is recommended but not required.

Hormone therapy is offered for women with moderate to severe menopausal symptoms. Dr. Dallas Wolford is the one doctor listed as a prescriber here, and her biography lists board certifications in general surgery, general cosmetic surgery and facial cosmetic surgery. The clinic does not say which of its doctors oversees the weight loss medication.

This listing is for its West Lake Hills office at 7004 Bee Caves Road Building 2, Suite 100.

What does it cost?

Austin Face & Body does not publish prices for the weight loss program or hormone therapy. Its menu links to a Price Estimator and a Financing page, but the weight loss and hormone therapy descriptions give no figure. In its own words: "clear pricing with no hidden fees." Yet no amount appears anywhere in that description.

It also does not say whether the monthly fee covers the medication, what the initial consultation costs, or whether insurance is accepted. Membership terms and cancellation for the weight loss program are not stated.

What should you ask before you book?

Start with who signs the prescription. Ask for the name and credentials of the doctor who will write and renew it. Ask whether the semaglutide and tirzepatide are brand-name or compounded, since the practice works with a compounding pharmacy. Ask whether the monthly fee includes the medication, and what the consultation, lab work and six-month visit cost. Ask whether monthly check-ins happen in person or by video. The menu lists a Virtual Consultation, but the weight loss description does not say whether follow-ups are virtual.

Then ask about surgery. The program says surgical options complement the results, such as tummy tucks and body lifts after weight loss. Ask whether surgery is expected, what it costs, and whether it is optional. Finally, ask how you cancel and whether you must commit to a set number of months. The description mentions a one-month supply but no contract.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want medication-based weight loss or menopause hormone therapy from a practice that also does plastic surgery, and you are ready to get the prescriber, the drug source and the full monthly cost in writing before you book. If you are looking for peptide or longevity care, the clinic lists neither.
