About Hold Fast Wellness

What is Hold Fast Wellness?

Hold Fast Wellness is a cash-pay clinic at 10124 Saddle Creek Road in Waco, Texas 76708. Its main business is wellness and cosmetic treatment, including injections, IV therapy, skin treatments, laser treatments and lab work. Medical weight loss, hormone therapy (HRT/TRT) and peptides are among its services too.

The two people it names as prescribers are both registered nurses: Stephanie Stricklen, RN, CFNIP, and Brittany Gohring, BSN, RN. The clinic mentions a medical director but does not name one, and no physician with an MD or DO is listed. The weight loss program uses semaglutide and tirzepatide, and the peptide menu includes NAD+, BPC-157 and Sermorelin, among others. Its Google listing shows a rating of 5 from 4 reviews.

What does it cost?

Medical weight loss is priced month by month across a five-month schedule. Semaglutide runs from $150 in month one to $255 in month five, and tirzepatide runs from $255 to $500. It does not say whether those monthly prices include the medication, visits or labs, and it does not publish a consultation fee for weight loss.

Hormone therapy starts with a $249 consultation that covers lab evaluation, physician review and a treatment plan. The all-inclusive membership is $199 a month for men and $249 a month for women, starting once the plan is finalized. Optional DHEA adds $64 to $69 a month, and medication is not ordered until membership begins. In its own words: "No surprise fees. No cookie-cutter protocols."

Its wellness memberships run $99, $199 or $299 a month and give a monthly allowance toward services such as weight loss, peptides or IV therapy. Cancellation requires 14 days' written notice before the next billing cycle. Peptides are listed from $175 to $255 each, and the derma peel is $250. It is private pay only and does not accept insurance. Payment plans run through Cherry.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who writes and signs each prescription, and ask for the name of the medical director, since no physician is named. Ask whether the monthly weight loss price includes the medication, the visits and the labs, and whether the medication is brand-name or compounded. Ask what follow-up labs and visits cost. The peptide list does not say how often each price applies, so ask whether those prices are per session or per month.

Ask whether visits can be done remotely, since the clinic does not say, and ask for its hours, which are not listed. The membership page says GLP-1 weight loss injections cannot be banked, so ask how that applies if you join. Get the cancellation terms for the weight loss program in writing too.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want a cash-pay clinic for weight loss, hormone therapy, or skin and injection services, and you are ready to confirm the prescriber, the medication and the monthly costs in writing before you pay. It is a weaker fit if you need a named physician on your treatment plan or a full price list before you call.
