About Balance Integrative & Infusion

What is Balance Integrative & Infusion?

Balance Integrative & Infusion is a membership-based direct primary care family practice at 5297 S. 31st St #115 in Temple, Texas, in Tuscan Square. Its main work is primary care for individuals, families and small businesses, with in-office visits and telemedicine by call, text or video. Kelli Dudley, APRN, FNP, is the founder and owner. Jennifer Thies Barnes, FNP-C, MSN, is the other prescriber named on the clinic's website.

The clinic lists seven services: primary care, hormone replacement, weight loss, IV infusion therapy, nutritional response testing, anthroposophic services and mistletoe. Its weight loss offering is a nutritionist-led program plus weight loss medications, and Semaglutide is the one medication it names. Hormone care comes as oral, topical or injected options, plus BioTe hormone pellets. The founder describes the start of the practice this way: "In 2018, I had the crazy idea that healthcare didn’t have to consume the family or business budget." Google lists the clinic at 4.6 from 18 reviews.

What does it cost?

Memberships are paid in full at registration, and the clinic does not bill Medicare, Medicaid or any insurance. Three-month memberships cost $85 for ages 0-17, listed as $30 a month. They cost $195 for ages 18-44, listed as $70 a month, and $250 for ages 45-64, listed as $90 a month. Adult memberships carry a $50 enrollment fee, waived for active duty and retired military. A visit without a membership costs $150, and that fee excludes medications, infusions, labs and imaging. Card payments carry a $5 convenience fee, and a failed payment costs $25.

Some services cost extra, including muscle testing, supplements, diagnostic studies, IV infusions and anthroposophic treatments, but no prices are published for them. The clinic does not publish prices for its weight loss program or medications, and it does not say whether semaglutide is included in any price. No separate consultation fee is stated, and no cancellation terms are published.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask which prescriber would handle your weight loss care. Ask whether the membership covers semaglutide or whether the medication is billed on top, and what it costs. Ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded, and where it comes from. Ask for the monthly cost of the nutritionist program, and what follow-up labs cost, since membership excludes pathology.

Ask how a membership is canceled, whether it renews automatically, and whether the fees paid at registration can be refunded. Confirm the street address before you go, because two different addresses for the clinic appear online. If you live outside the Temple area, ask which states telemedicine covers. Ask for office hours, which are not published.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want a cash-pay family practice in Temple that combines primary care, weight loss and hormone care under one membership, and you can pay the membership in full at sign-up. It is a poor fit if you need your insurance billed or want a published price list before you call.
