What should you ask before you book?
Ask who will sign your prescriptions and what their credentials are, and ask for the answer in writing. Ask whether a monthly program fee includes any medication, and whether that medication is brand name or compounded. Ask what follow-up visits, repeat lab work and the EKG cost, since none of those are priced. For testosterone, ask how often the blood panel is repeated and what each treatment costs. Ask whether insurance is accepted, whether HSA funds can be used, and whether follow-up can be done by video. Finally, ask how a program or membership is cancelled and whether any commitment is required.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want in-person medical weight loss or hormone testing at a local office, and you are ready to pay cash and get the full price in writing before you start.
