About ABL Wellness Clinic
What is ABL Wellness Clinic?
ABL Wellness Clinic is a physician-led longevity medicine practice at 500 E Palm Valley Blvd in Round Rock, Texas. It lists Georgetown, Pflugerville and Austin among the areas it serves, and it offers telehealth when appropriate. Hours are by appointment. Dr. Eric Guy is the one prescriber named, with board certification in Internal Medicine, Obesity Medicine and Procedural Medicine and 20+ years of medical experience.
ABL offers three services: obesity management with GLP-1 support, hormone optimization, and longevity testing. The obesity program names compounded semaglutide as its medication. Hormone optimization covers bioidentical hormone therapy, a full hormone panel and monthly follow-ups. Longevity testing includes TruAge biological age testing, ExtendingME nutrigenomic testing, VO2 Max, DEXA scans and the ABL Longevity Score. Peptide therapy appears only as a possible add-on, not as a standing program. In its own words: "Most physicals tell you whether you are sick today."
This listing is for its Round Rock office at 500 E Palm Valley Blvd.
What does it cost?
The Foundational Longevity Assessment costs $2,995 and covers epigenetic testing, body composition, metabolism and a physician-guided plan. Memberships are billed monthly: Essentials at $99, Silver at $299 and Gold at $499. They are month-to-month. You can cancel or restart with 10-day notice, or pause for 1 to 3 months. Memberships are direct-pay medical service agreements, not insurance.
For weight management, the price is about $500 per month when compounded semaglutide is included. Routine monitoring is about $250 per month when prescription GLP-1 agonists are obtained separately. ABL notes that costs may vary, and it does not say whether the $250 includes any medication.
Hormone therapy prices are not published, and hormone care is billed separately from membership. ABL does not say whether it accepts insurance. The first step is a free 15-minute consultation.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes and signs any prescription, and whether that is always Dr. Guy. Ask whether the $500 price covers the medication, the visits and the monthly follow-up, and what the $250 covers.
Ask what compounded semaglutide means for the product you would receive, who prepares it, and whether a brand-name prescription is an option. Ask what lab work costs, how often it is repeated, and whether it is billed on top of the monthly fee.
Ask for hormone therapy prices in writing before your first visit. Ask whether any part of your care is billed to insurance and whether you would need to keep your own coverage. ABL does not publish a phone number and asks people to book through its consultation form, so ask how to reach someone before you commit.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want physician-led testing with monthly follow-up, you plan to pay directly rather than through insurance, and you are comfortable getting prices in writing before you commit. If you need every price published up front, or you need a clinic that bills insurance, it may be better to keep looking before you call.
