What is Restore and Revive?
Restore and Revive is a health clinic and wellness spa at 2501 Jimmy Johnson Blvd., Suite 302, in Port Arthur, Texas. The clinic side handles everything from well visits to sick visits, and the spa side offers aesthetic and IV treatments. Google lists it as a family practice physician and rates it 4.8 from 191 reviews.
Justin Feldschau, FNP-C, is a licensed family nurse practitioner and one of the clinic's owners and founders. Dr. James T. Shepherd, MD, is listed as an internist on the team and as a prescriber. It does not say whether he sees patients at this office.
The clinic offers health care, weight loss, IV infusion, aesthetics, body contouring and specialties such as teeth whitening. Its weight loss service includes oral and injectable medication, nutrition plans and a "Reduction Drip" IV infusion. It does not name the medications. In its own words: "Direct administration of vitamins, nutrients, and medications directly into the bloodstream." Hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, and Friday, 8:00am to 1:00pm. The phone number is 409-344-9087.
What does it cost?
It does not publish a consultation fee or a price for its weight loss medication, and it does not say whether insurance is accepted. Its monthly weight loss program has three tiers. Silver is $126 a month and includes weekly B-12 and L-Carnitine. Gold is $216 a month and includes weekly Lipoplex and L-Carnitine. Platinum is $270 a month and includes weekly B-12, Lipoplex and L-Carnitine. Each tier also includes a discount on the Reduction Drip.
Its VIP memberships are the Member Package at $99 a month and the VIP Package at $199 a month. Both come with spa discounts and a few free monthly sessions. It does not say whether prescription medication is part of any of these prices. The membership terms read: "Requires 6-Month Commitment Cancel Anytime After 6 Months."
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the prescription, and whether Dr. Shepherd sees patients at this office or Justin Feldschau, FNP-C, handles them. Ask whether the monthly fee covers the medication, which oral and injectable drugs are prescribed, and whether they are brand-name or compounded. Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost, since none of that is published. Ask whether insurance is accepted and whether telehealth visits are offered, because it does not say. Finally, ask how to cancel before the six-month commitment ends.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want in-person care in Port Arthur, you are ready to pay cash for a monthly plan, and you are comfortable with a nurse practitioner handling your prescriptions. It is worth a call if you can confirm that medication is included in the monthly price before you commit.
