About Nurse Lab Aesthetics & Wellness

What is Nurse Lab Aesthetics & Wellness?

Nurse Lab Aesthetics & Wellness is a med spa at 700 E Griffin Pkwy, Suite 115, in Mission, Texas 78572. The phone number is 956-513-3482. Most of what it offers is cosmetic: Boo-Tox, which uses Xeomin or Daxxify, lip filler and lip filler dissolving, SkinPen microneedling, chemical peels, dermaplaning and skin care. The weight loss program is one service among several. It names semaglutide and tirzepatide as its medications. It also offers NAD+ injections and a menu of vitamin injections. It does not list hormone therapy or peptide therapy.

Google lists it as a medical spa with a rating of 5 from 124 reviews. It is open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM, Saturday from 9 AM to 12 PM, and Sunday from 2 PM to 5 PM. It is closed Monday and Wednesday. Virtual consults are offered for weight loss and wellness only.

New patients complete a good faith exam (GFE) with a nurse practitioner, but the clinic does not name that nurse practitioner. It lists two team members, Aurelia Trevino and Hannah Avery, with no credentials, and does not say which of them prescribes.

What does it cost?

Weight loss programs start at $300. The clinic does not say whether that is a single visit or a monthly charge, and it does not say whether medication is included. Other starting prices include Boo-Tox from $100, Vampire's Kiss lip filler from $295, SkinPen microneedling from $300, Lipo Dissolve from $200, NAD+ injections from $25 per injection for 50 mg, and wellness injections at $25 each or 4 for $80. Follow-up visits for current patients are $0 with no deposit.

The consultation is 20 minutes. In its own words: "The $50 fee is applied towards your treatment if you choose to proceed that same day."

Many treatments require a $50 deposit, and wellness and NAD+ injections require $15. New patients pay a $35 GFE fee once a year on several services. Buy Now, Pay Later is available for bookings from $50 to $4,000, and approval must come before the appointment. The clinic does not say whether it accepts insurance.

The cancellation policy asks for 24 hours' notice for any cancellation or rescheduling. Changes made within 24 hours cost 20% to 25% of the service total, and no-shows cost 25%. Deposits are not refunded for late cancellations.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who signs the weight loss prescription and what their credentials are. The clinic mentions a nurse practitioner but does not name one, and it does not name who prescribes NAD+ injections either.

Ask whether the $300 includes the medication, and whether it is one charge or a monthly one.

Ask whether semaglutide and tirzepatide are brand-name products or compounded versions, and where the medication is filled.

Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost. The clinic does not publish either price.

Ask whether it will bill your insurance, or whether payment is out of pocket or through financing only.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you mainly want skin or cosmetic treatments in Mission, Texas, and a weight loss program or NAD+ injections are a secondary interest. You should also be comfortable paying in cash or through financing. If you want a named prescriber with credentials, or a clear answer on what the medication costs, get both in writing before you book.
