What is Pure Health?
Pure Health is a wellness center at 8004 Quaker Ave Suite D in Lubbock, Texas. Google lists it as a medical spa, with a 5 rating from 382 reviews. Most of what it offers is IV therapy, cryotherapy, Joovv red light therapy, compression, NAD+, micronutrient testing, and energy and beauty treatments. Its peptides are a separate line, and they include BPC-157, Sermorelin, TB-500, GHK-Cu and AOD-9604 Trim. Its Peptide Weight Loss Program uses a once-weekly injection, with weekly measurements and nutrition counseling as needed.
It says two medical professionals developed the practice, but it does not name a prescriber or list credentials beside any name. It is open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, Saturday 10am to 5:30pm and Sunday 1pm to 5pm. On its NAD+ page it says: "Relax in an ultra-luxurious recliner while our specially trained and qualified medical staff administer your IV."
What does it cost?
Membership prices are published. Gold is $99 a month, Silver is $199 a month and Platinum is $299 a month. Each tier includes a set number of monthly drips, shots and Normatec sessions, plus 10% to 20% off single services. NAD+ is excluded from the membership drips. Unlimited Joovv or Normatec can be added for $99, or both for $129.
It does not publish prices for the Peptide Weight Loss Program or any other peptide. It gives no consultation fee. It does not say whether it accepts insurance, and it does not state membership terms or cancellation rules.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who prescribes. It does not name a prescriber or say whether a physician supervises the weight loss or peptide treatment. Ask which injectable the Peptide Weight Loss Program uses, because it does not name it. Ask whether the peptides are brand-name or compounded. Its disclaimer says all therapies are specific formulations prepared by Pure Health, so ask who makes them and where they come from.
Ask whether the monthly fee includes the medication, and what the weekly injections, weigh-ins, follow-up visits and lab work cost. Its peptide page says: "Schedule a consultation to determine which peptide options align best with your goals, lifestyle, and overall wellness plan." Ask whether that consultation is charged. Ask whether telehealth visits are offered, and how a membership is cancelled.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want IV therapy, light therapy, compression or a fixed-price membership in Lubbock, and you are comfortable asking who prescribes before you pay for any peptide or weight loss program. It is worth a call if you want the weight loss program, but only after the prescriber, the medication and the total monthly cost are confirmed in writing.
