About IV League Weight Loss & Aesthetic Clinic

What is IV League Weight Loss & Aesthetic Clinic?

IV League is a medical spa at 4715 W Loop 289 Acc Rd in Lubbock, Texas, founded by Mackenzie Lowe. Its main work is aesthetic: injectables, microneedling and platelet-based skin treatments. It also runs a medical weight loss program, which it says is prescribed and monitored by a Family Nurse Practitioner. It does not name that nurse practitioner. Its six listed services are injectables, medical weight loss, IV therapy, SkinPen & Regenerative, PRFM Therapy and Peptide & Recovery, though it gives no details on Peptide & Recovery.

The weight loss program uses semaglutide and tirzepatide, and names Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro and Zepbound. It runs in three phases over six to twelve months, with monthly check-ins. In-person consultations are for Lubbock locals, and telehealth is open to all Texas residents. It is open Tuesday to Friday, 9 to 6, and Saturday, 10 to 3, and it has a 5 rating on Google from 3 reviews.

What does it cost?

Semaglutide starts at $200 a month and tirzepatide at $270 a month. It does not say whether the medication is included in those prices. Tox starts at $11 a unit, with a 20 unit minimum for larger areas. SkinPen starts at $275 a session or $725 for three. Lipo B/C shots are from $30 and B12 shots from $15, both given in office.

In its own words: "The consultation is complimentary and includes a full medical review." On membership it says: "At IV League, there is NEVER a commitment to any weight loss program." It does not say whether insurance is accepted, how to cancel, or what the monthly plan covers beyond the price. It does not publish a phone number.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who the Family Nurse Practitioner is and whether you will see that person at each visit. Ask whether the monthly price covers the medication, and what labs, extra visits and dose changes cost on top. Labs are described as not required in one place and as part of starting in another, so ask which applies. Ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded, since its blog discusses compounded semaglutide. Ask what Peptide & Recovery involves, who prescribes it, and whether the clinic takes insurance.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want cosmetic treatments and medical weight loss from one studio, either in Lubbock or by telehealth from elsewhere in Texas. It suits you if you want the prescriber, the medication and the monthly cost in writing before you pay.
