What is EZ Health & Wellness?
EZ Health & Wellness is a direct primary care practice at 32665 US Hwy 281 S., Bulverde, Texas 78163. Patients pay a monthly membership instead of billing insurance. The membership covers family primary care: sick visits, chronic conditions such as diabetes and thyroid issues, physicals, and care for children from age 2. Michael Enriquez, Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, is the one prescriber named. The practice has a 5 rating from 11 Google reviews. In its own words: "We removed the insurance middleman so we can work directly for you."
Weight loss and peptide therapy are add-ons, and only active members can add them. EZ Weight Loss offers semaglutide and tirzepatide. EZ Peptide Therapy is prescribed and monitored by the provider, with peptides sourced from compounding pharmacies. Telehealth visits are offered alongside in-office care. Hours are Monday to Friday, 12:30 to 5:00 PM, by appointment only. The phone number is (830) 354-5557.
What does it cost?
Memberships run month to month with no long-term contract. Cancelling carries no fee if you give 30 days written notice. An adult membership for ages 18 to 64 is $99 a month, a pediatric membership for ages 2 to 17 is $49 a month, and a telehealth membership for ages 2 to 64 is $69 a month. A family household is capped at $400 a month, and a telehealth-only family with children is capped at $350 a month. Insurance is not billed, so all of this is paid in cash.
Semaglutide plans start at $99 a month and tirzepatide plans start at $199 a month. Both require an active membership, so the membership fee comes on top of these. It does not say whether medication is included in those prices, and it does not publish a total monthly figure. It does not publish a peptide price or a consultation fee.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask whether the add-on price includes the medication, and whether semaglutide and tirzepatide are brand-name or compounded. Ask whether Michael Enriquez writes the prescriptions for weight loss and for any peptide protocol, or another provider does. Ask for the full monthly total, membership plus medication, before you enroll. Ask which lab work is needed to start, which labs are included, and what the rest cost. Ask whether the peptide consultation has a fee, since the virtual meet and greet is described as complimentary. Ask which states telehealth visits can be done from, since none are named. Ask whether the 30 day notice rule also ends a medication add-on, or whether that needs separate notice.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want ongoing primary care under a monthly membership and are willing to pay cash for it. If you want weight loss medication or peptide therapy, it is a good fit only if you also want that primary care membership, since both add-ons require one.
