What is Saving Face?
Saving Face is a medical spa in Austin, Texas, that describes itself as regenerative aesthetics and longevity. Most of what it offers is cosmetic: BOTOX and other neuromodulators, dermal fillers, lasers, skin treatments and body contouring. Its weight-loss, hormone, peptide and longevity services sit alongside those. Weight loss runs through a GLP-1 program, and hormone therapy includes bioidentical hormone replacement and testosterone replacement. Longevity care covers bloodwork, thyroid health, nutrition consulting and functional health programs.
The clinic has three locations, two in Austin and one in Bee Cave, and says it began nearly a decade ago as a boutique, injectable-only lounge. Its GLP-1 program names semaglutide, a once-weekly injection. In its own words: "Our GLP-1 injections are medically supervised." The clinic does not name a prescriber for that supervision, or for any other service. Its peptide list is long and includes BPC-157, Ipamorelin, Semax and Epithalon. It does not say whether its medications are brand-name or compounded.
This listing is for its Austin office at 1201 Rio Grande St Ste 100.
What does it cost?
Saving Face does not publish prices, for the GLP-1 program or any other service, and it does not state a consultation fee. Its menu links to a membership page and to Cherry Financing, but the text gives no terms for either. It does not say whether a monthly fee would include medication, whether it accepts insurance, or what follow-up visits and lab work cost. It asks whether a flexible spending account or health savings account can pay for its preventive wellness treatments, but it does not answer that question, so do not assume either account will cover anything here.
What should you ask before you book?
Start with the prescriber. Ask who writes the prescription, whether that person is licensed in Texas, and whether they see you in person or by video, since telehealth is not described. Ask whether the monthly fee includes the medication, and whether that medication is brand-name or compounded. Ask what the consultation costs and whether it counts toward the program. Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost, and how you cancel, including any notice period or fee. If you plan to use an FSA or HSA, ask in writing whether the clinic will issue an itemized receipt your administrator accepts. For each peptide, ask who prescribes it and what it is for.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want cosmetic treatments and medical services under one roof and are ready to get the prescriber's name, prices and cancellation terms in writing before you pay anything. It is a weaker fit if you need to know who prescribes and what each service costs before you book a first visit, since the clinic publishes neither.
