About Maui MedSpa
What is Maui MedSpa?
Maui MedSpa is a medical spa at 10526 W. Parmer, Suite 425, in North Austin, Texas 78717. Google lists it as a medical spa, with a 4.8 rating from 504 reviews. Much of what it advertises is cosmetic, including Botox, dermal fillers, HydraFacial MD and CO2 laser resurfacing. Its medical services are weight loss with semaglutide or tirzepatide, testosterone replacement, peptide therapy, and longevity injections of NAD+, NR and NMN.
Dr. Winston A. Turnage is the medical director and the only prescriber named. No credentials are published for him. On semaglutide, the wording is: "he will either prescribe Wegovy or compounded Semaglutide/B12/B6." Tirzepatide is offered as Zepbound, in a prefilled pen or a vial.
What does it cost?
Semaglutide is $249 a month, no matter the dose. It does not say whether that fee includes the medication. Tirzepatide is harder to pin down. It lists $299 a month up to 7.5mg, $399 a month for 7.5 to 15mg, and $385 a month, and it does not say which one applies to you. NAD+, NR and NMN start at $125 a month. Testosterone replacement and peptide therapy have no price published.
A consultation is free. The clinic does not bill insurance, but it will provide diagnosis codes you can submit to your insurer yourself. It offers flexible payment on purchases over $750. It does not publish membership or cancellation terms.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who signs your prescription and what credentials that person holds. Dr. Turnage's credentials are not given, and other providers are mentioned without names.
Ask whether the $249 semaglutide fee covers the medication, and whether you would get brand-name Wegovy or the compounded version with B12 and B6. The two are different products, and the price does not say which one you pay for.
For tirzepatide, ask which of the three prices applies to you and whether the pen or the vial is included. With a vial, you learn to draw up the dose yourself.
Ask whether monthly follow-ups, lab work and the monthly InBody scans are included in the fee or billed separately.
Ask how a membership is cancelled, how much notice is required, and whether a prepaid month is refunded. No hours are listed, and telehealth is not mentioned, so ask about both.
If you are considering testosterone, peptides or NAD+, ask what is in each product, how it is prescribed, and what it costs beyond the starting price.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you are paying cash, can get to North Austin for in-person visits, and want medication-based weight loss, testosterone care or cosmetic treatment under a named medical director. If you need one clear monthly price, get the tirzepatide price, the medication question and the cancellation terms in writing before you pay for a membership.
