What is Blue Tree Health?
Blue Tree Health is a medical weight loss and med spa practice at 3508 Far West Blvd, Suite 130, in Austin, Texas 78731. It has one location, reached at (512) 293-6822. The clinic describes itself as veteran owned and operated, says it was established in 2010, and says it has over 15 years of experience. Its office is open Tuesday through Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm and Saturday from 7:30am to 12:30pm, and it is closed Sunday and Monday. Its Google listing shows a 4.9 rating from 147 reviews.
Weight loss is the main service. The clinic names semaglutide, tirzepatide, phentermine, Lomaira and phendimetrazine among its medications and runs a GLP-1 program. It also offers body contouring with EmSculpt NEO Edge and Morpheus8, a med spa menu that includes Botox, Dysport, Daxxify and filler, and vitamin B-12, Lipoden and NAD+ injections. It does not offer hormone therapy or peptide therapy. Telehealth appointments are offered for refills for existing patients only, and the clinic does not say which states its telehealth covers.
What does it cost?
The clinic lists $199 a month for new patients and $149 a month for established patients, with both prices shown beside a $229 figure. It defines an established patient as someone who has seen the provider in the past 7 years. Plans are month to month. Teachers and military get $10 off the monthly price, and new patients get a complimentary DEXA scan when they start any program. The first step is a free weight-loss assessment. In its own words: "No contracts or hidden fees." The clinic does not say whether the monthly price includes medication, and it does not say whether it accepts insurance.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the prescription and what their credentials are, because the clinic does not name the prescribing provider in what it publishes. Ask whether the $199 or $149 monthly price includes the medication or whether the drug is billed separately, and get the full monthly total in writing. Ask whether the medication is brand name or compounded. Ask whether the clinic accepts insurance, and whether it takes HSA funds or offers financing. Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost, and whether either is part of the plan. Finally, ask how a month to month plan is cancelled and whether any fee applies. If you are not sure whether you count as an established patient, ask what the last visit has to have been.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want prescription weight loss care in or near Austin, you are comfortable paying cash, and you want to ask the clinic directly what the monthly price covers. If you need hormone therapy or peptide therapy, this clinic does not offer either.
