Aesthetica Med Spa is a medical spa at 500 North Capital of Texas Highway Bldg 6, Suite 100, Austin, Texas 78746. It was established in 1999 as one of Austin's first medical spas. The clinic offers weight loss injections of semaglutide and tirzepatide. Its semaglutide information says semaglutide is also known as Wegovy or Ozempic. The one physician named is Dr. David L Sneed, who earned his DO at North Texas School of Osteopathic Medicine in Denton, Texas, and trained in family practice through the US Navy. It also advertises an HCG weight loss program. In its own words: "Our medical spa offers the care of a physician with all of the comforts of a luxury medical spa." It does not list hours and asks callers to call.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices. It asks callers to call for pricing, and its semaglutide information says a Patient Coordinator will give a price breakdown once a treatment plan is made. A free consultation is offered with one of its providers. The only payment option it names is financing through Care Credit and Cherry. It does not say whether insurance is accepted or whether the price includes the medication. It lists memberships but publishes no membership terms or cancellation rules.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the prescription and whether you will see Dr. David L Sneed or another provider at each visit. Ask whether the medication is brand name or compounded, since the clinic names Wegovy and Ozempic without saying which one it uses. Ask whether the program price covers the medication, the injections and follow-up visits, and what lab work costs. For the HCG program, ask who prescribes it, what it includes and what it costs. Its materials describe weekly office visits, an initial EKG and lab tests, so confirm whether those are included. Ask who prescribes the peptide therapy, and how the risks listed in its semaglutide information are monitored. Ask how to cancel a membership or program, and whether financing payments continue after you stop. Get the answers in writing before you pay a deposit.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want weight loss injections at a clinic that also offers cosmetic and skin treatments, you expect to pay out of pocket, and you will get the prescriber, medication and price answers in writing before you commit. If you need published prices, insurance billing or a clear cancellation policy, call and ask those first.
