About MODERN WELLNESS
What is Modern Wellness?
Modern Wellness is a wellness clinic and medspa at 207 Uptown Square in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Megon West, NP-C, owns and runs it as its lead nurse practitioner. Her bio says she brings over 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse to her work as a nurse practitioner. Dr. Donald Volmer, MD, is named as medical director and is also listed as a prescriber.
The clinic offers four services. Its weight loss program uses semaglutide and tirzepatide. Hormone replacement therapy covers bioidentical hormones and testosterone. The other two are aesthetic: Jeuveau toxin injections and dermal filler. It does not mention peptide or longevity services. In its own words: "Every protocol is overseen by our expert Nurse Practitioner to ensure your health moves in harmony with your life."
Appointments are offered on the first Saturday of each month, and no weekday hours are published. You can book a consultation by text or by calling (629) 310-9788. Its Google rating is 5 from 29 reviews, in the category medical spa.
What does it cost?
The weight loss consultation is $75, paid only at the initial appointment. Semaglutide and tirzepatide start at $20 a week, and the clinic does not say whether that price includes the medication. Hormone therapy starts with a $150 initial consultation, and each follow-up visit every 3 months is $75.
Toxin is $10 per unit, and its Evolus rewards program takes $40 off each treatment every 90 days. Filler is $650 per syringe. The clinic does not publish prices for testosterone or the hormone medicines themselves, and it does not say whether it accepts insurance.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the prescription for the service you choose, and who you will see at follow-up visits. Ask whether the $20 weekly price includes the medication, and what your monthly total would be at the strength you would need. Ask whether the medicine is brand-name or compounded.
Ask what lab work the weight loss visit involves, and whether it is covered by the $75 fee. Ask which consultation fee applies to hormone therapy, since the clinic does not say. Ask whether telehealth is available, and whether insurance or HSA funds can be used. Finally, ask how cancellations and refunds work. The clinic's terms of service say refunds follow its current policy, and that policy is not published.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want in-person, cash-pay care from a nurse practitioner for weight loss or hormone therapy, and you are comfortable getting clear answers to the questions above before you pay. It is less likely to fit if you need insurance billing, or if you are looking for peptide or longevity care, which the clinic does not list.
