What is Physicians Urgent Care?
Physicians Urgent Care is a group of walk-in clinics with offices in Franklin, Brentwood, Berry Farms and Nolensville, Tennessee. Its main business is urgent care for illnesses and injuries, with on-site labs, x-rays, vaccinations and minor procedures. Weight loss is one of its primary care services, and the weight loss program is listed for the Brentwood and Berry Farms offices.
The practice is owned and managed by six board-certified ER physicians, who also work in area emergency rooms. Its offices employ MDs, DOs, PAs, NPs, x-ray techs and medical assistants. No prescriber is named for the weight loss program.
The program uses GLP-1 medications, semaglutide and tirzepatide, which are listed under the brand names Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro. Injections are picked up once a month and can be given at home or by staff at the office. Google lists the practice at 4.6 from 788 reviews, under urgent care center.
What does it cost?
Weight loss injections are priced by the month. Semaglutide is $245 for 1 mg and under, $295 for 1.75 mg and $345 for 2.5 mg. Tirzepatide is $195 for 2.5 mg, $295 for 5 mg, $395 for 7.5 mg and $495 for 10 mg. The provider visit is included in the monthly price. It does not say whether the medication is included, so that is a question to ask. It does not publish a consultation fee.
Payment is by credit, debit or HSA card only, and the billing page is direct about it: "We do not accept cash." The practice accepts most major insurance plans, but it does not say whether insurance covers the injections. Its business membership plans, at $57 or $77 per person a month, exclude weight loss injections: "Vaccinations and weight loss injections are excluded from subscription plans."
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the prescription and who manages dosing and follow-up, since no prescriber is named. Ask whether the monthly price includes the medication or whether it is billed on top, and whether the price changes when your dose changes. Each price is tied to a specific dose, so ask what a dose change does to the bill.
Ask whether the medication is the brand-name product or a compounded version. The program names Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro but does not say which one is dispensed. Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost, since outside labs carry an additional charge from the laboratory.
Ask whether any part of the program can be billed to insurance, and how to cancel a monthly plan, since no cancellation terms are published. Confirm the program is offered at the office you would use, because it is listed for Brentwood and Berry Farms only.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a monthly, cash-pay injection program at the Brentwood or Berry Farms office and you are willing to get the prescriber, the medication and the cancellation terms in writing before you book. If you need insurance to cover the injections, or you want a named prescriber before you pay, settle those questions first.

We have not yet collected published prices or prescriber credentials for this clinic. When we do, they will appear here with a link to the page they came from — or a note saying the clinic publishes none, which is itself worth knowing. Call them for a price in the meantime.
