What is Binhlam Aesthetics?
Binhlam Aesthetics is a cosmetic dermatology practice and medical spa at 1649 Westgate Circle, Suite 200, in Brentwood, Tennessee. Most of its work is skin and body care, including Botox and neuromodulators, facial and lip fillers, laser treatments, chemical peels, microneedling, CoolSculpting and Emsculpt NEO. Medical weight loss is one of its services, not the center of the practice. Google lists it as a medical spa, with 5 stars from 106 reviews.
The weight loss program is a medically supervised membership offering Wegovy, Zepbound, or a compounded GLP-1 medicine, semaglutide or tirzepatide. The program's description also refers to the practice as Advanced Skin and Laser Center (ASLC), so you may see both names. The medical team is described as board-certified internal medicine and dermatology physicians with over 35 years of experience, but no individual prescriber is named. Follow-up visits can be in office or virtual, with bloodwork at the Brentwood office or at partner LabCorp locations.
What does it cost?
The weight loss program is a 6-month membership with a starting investment of $155. Medication is separate, at $450 to $550 a month. The membership is required for six months, the monthly fees are auto-drafted, and membership fees are nonrefundable, as is any compounded medication fee. Payment is direct, and no insurance is filed. A free consultation is offered, but it does not say whether the $155 covers the first visit or what else it includes. It does not say how to cancel before the six months end.
Members earn 10 points for each month completed, and 60 points, worth $60, can go toward regularly priced services at the med spa. The card cannot be redeemed for cash. The $300 and $400 monthly memberships are separate skincare programs, not part of the weight loss plan.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the prescription and whether that physician sees you at each visit. Ask whether the $450 to $550 monthly medication cost covers the drug itself, and whether each medicine is brand-name or compounded. Ask what the compounded medication fee is, since one is mentioned but no amount is given. Ask whether the $155 includes your first visit and bloodwork, and what follow-up visits and lab work cost beyond the monthly fee. Ask which states virtual visits cover. Ask how to cancel before the six months end, and whether the auto-drafts stop when you do.
It does not publish office hours, so call 615.425.FACE (3223) to confirm them. Also confirm which business will bill you, since the program carries the ASLC name.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a medication-based weight loss program in Brentwood, can pay the membership and medication costs yourself, and already have a primary care doctor for everything else. In its own words: "Our practice is focused on weight loss; your PCP must address all other medical issues." If you want one office to handle your broader care, settle that with your PCP before you book.
