About OnPointe Care

What is OnPointe Care?

OnPointe Care is a primary care and urgent care clinic at 5905 Stage Rd in Bartlett, TN 38134. Its phone number is (901) 779-8657. It once had a Cordova office, but that location has closed, so Bartlett is now its only office. Patients also come from Memphis, Germantown, and Lakeland.

Dr. Mohammed Bah, a board-certified physician, founded the practice after more than 25 years of emergency room experience. Paula Sayson, NP, is also named as a prescriber.

Services range from urgent care for sudden illness and minor injuries to primary care, digital X-rays, lab testing, vaccinations, IV therapy, STI testing, occupational health, and women's and men's health visits. Weight loss is one service among these, with medical weight loss plans, semaglutide, and meal plans. The clinic also lists menopause management, but it does not name hormone therapy or peptide therapy as a treatment.

What does it cost?

The one price list the clinic publishes is for its Health Ease Solutions membership. In its own words: "These services are available for a flat, recurring membership fee, typically billed monthly." Monthly rates are $45 for children from 3 months to 18 years, $70 for ages 19 to 24, $80 for ages 25 to 50, $90 for ages 51 to 64, $99 for age 65 and up, $160 for families of 1 to 4 members, and $180 for families of more than 5. There is a one-time $40 enrollment fee. Telemedicine visits are offered at no extra cost. The clinic also accepts most major health insurance plans and offers self-pay options.

It does not publish prices for weight loss or semaglutide. It does not say whether medication is included, gives no consultation fee, and states no cancellation or commitment terms for the weight loss program.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who writes the semaglutide prescription, since the clinic does not say, and whether that person sees you in person before the program starts. Ask whether the monthly fee includes the medication, and whether the drug is brand-name or compounded. Ask for the full monthly total in writing, including consultation, follow-up visits, and lab work, and whether the weight loss program requires a Health Ease Solutions membership. Ask how cancellation works and whether there is a minimum commitment. Ask which states its telemedicine covers, because the clinic does not list them. Finally, confirm the hours. They are listed two ways, with Sunday closed and also with urgent care seven days a week.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want a local primary care doctor on a flat monthly membership and may need urgent visits too. It is a weaker fit if your main reason to call is a weight loss program with a published price, or hormone therapy or peptide therapy, since the clinic names neither as a treatment. Get the weight loss costs in writing before you commit.
