About MyBeautyMed
What is MyBeautyMed?
MyBeautyMed is a med spa at 5622 Sheridan Lake Road, Suite 105, in Rapid City, South Dakota. Most of its work is cosmetic, including Botox, dermal fillers, Morpheus 8 laser treatments, PRP and chemical peels. It also offers medical services: hormone replacement with BioTE pellets, testosterone injections, NAD+ injections and drips, vitamin injections and IV infusions. Its own description includes weight loss services, but it names no weight loss medication and no weight loss prescriber.
Nichole Yost, CNP, owns and operates the practice and provides its medical care. In its own words: "This gives me the freedom to really listen to my clients concerns and provide a more personalized approach to treatments."
Google lists it as a medical spa, with a rating of 4.8 from 56 reviews. It is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm from Memorial Day and 11am to 5pm from Labor Day. The phone number is 605-600-7038.
What does it cost?
A 30-minute medical consult is $199. The BioTE hormone section lists an initial or annual lab draw at $229, a 4-6 week lab draw at $129, a female pellet placement at $355, and a male pellet placement, a 3-4 month program, at $425. It does not say whether the pellet price includes the hormone itself.
Other listed prices include Botox at $10 per unit, NAD+ injections at $75, the NAD+ drip at $249, and a Skinny Shot at $30. Testosterone injections are $25 for consulted patients who bring their own supply.
It does not publish a price for a weight loss program or for any GLP-1 medication. It does not say whether it accepts insurance, and it does not publish membership or cancellation terms. Telehealth is not described.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who signs the prescription for hormone therapy and for any weight loss medication, since Nichole Yost, CNP, is the only prescriber named. Ask whether the $425 male pellet program includes the medication, and what the lab draws and follow-up visits add to the cost.
If you are considering weight loss care, ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded, what it costs each month, and what the Skinny Shot contains. If you plan to bring your own testosterone, ask what the clinic charges if it supplies the testosterone instead.
Ask whether it accepts insurance or an HSA card, whether follow-up visits can be done by telehealth, and how to cancel a program or pellet series. Ask whether a cancellation fee applies.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want cosmetic procedures, vitamin or hormone services, or a short consult with Nichole Yost, CNP, in Rapid City, and you are ready to pay cash for each visit. If you want a weight loss prescription and need the prescriber and monthly cost named before you book, call at 605-600-7038 and get those answers before you commit.
