What is Perform Med?

The one fixed charge it names is a $95 consultation fee: "A $95 consultation fee is due at the time of scheduling and will be credited toward treatment if a service is booked." Missed appointments without notice carry a $50 no-show fee, and the clinic keeps a card on file.
For erectile dysfunction pills, it advertises sildenafil and tadalafil "with pricing starting at less than $1 per pill," but it does not say what the visit or the rest of the treatment adds up to. P-Wave and P-Shot packages are listed at 25% off, with no starting price shown. What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes and signs your prescription, and what credentials that person holds. Dr. Taylor Vaughan is the only prescriber named, and no credentials are given for him.

Ask whether each drug is brand-name or compounded. The hormone section mentions custom-compounded topicals, so the question applies there too.

Ask whether it takes insurance or HSA payment, and whether the $95 credit applies if you decide not to continue.
