About Coastal Wellness

What is Coastal Wellness?

Coastal Wellness is mainly a mobile IV therapy and recovery business in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with medical weight loss as one of its services. It also offers vitamin and amino therapy, peptides, NAD+ infusions, red light, contrast therapy and compression. It has locations in Carolina Forest and Market Common. IV therapy is offered at both, and recovery services only at Carolina Forest. It has a 5-star Google rating from 29 reviews. It does not publish hours or how many years it has operated.

Weight loss is handled by telehealth. It offers compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, prepared by South Lake Pharmacy, a licensed compounding pharmacy based in Florida. You complete an intake form, have a 15 minute telehealth visit, and the medication is shipped to you. No prescriber is named. In its own words: "Your medication program will be shipped to your residence. Alcohol pads, syringes, shipping, and injection instructions are all included."

What does it cost?

Weight loss is sold as programs of several weeks. The semaglutide programs run $399 for the Starter (up to 10 weeks), $579 for the Transformation (up to 15 weeks) and $799 for the Elite (up to 20 weeks). The tirzepatide programs run $429 for the Starter (up to 6 weeks), $799 for the Transformation (up to 10 weeks) and $999 for the Elite (up to 17 weeks). Its own material also gives $459 for the starter program in each medication and $1,199 for the top tirzepatide program, so confirm which price applies. It does not say whether the medication is included in the program price. The telehealth consultation is free.

IV infusions are priced one at a time. NAD+ infusions are $399 or $799. IV memberships run $99, $149 or $199 a month. Recovery memberships are listed at different prices in different places. Payment plans run through Cherry with no hard credit checks. It does not say whether it accepts insurance, and it does not publish cancellation or commitment terms for the weight loss programs.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who signs the prescription and what that person's credentials are, since no prescriber is named. The medication is compounded, not brand-name, so ask whether a brand-name version is an option. Ask whether the program price includes the medication, and which of its quoted prices applies to you. Ask what follow-up provider check-ins and lab work cost, and who pays for them. Ask how a program is cancelled and whether you are committed to its full length. Ask whether it takes your insurance or only cash and Cherry financing, and ask for its hours, since none are published.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you live in South Carolina, have a BMI of 27 or greater (or already take the medication), and are ready to pay cash or use Cherry financing. It is worth a call once you have a prescriber's name and one confirmed price.

We have not yet collected published prices or prescriber credentials for this clinic. When we do, they will appear here with a link to the page they came from — or a note saying the clinic publishes none, which is itself worth knowing. Call them for a price in the meantime.
