About Infu-Zen Spa

What is Infu-Zen Spa?

Infu-Zen Spa is a medical spa at 850-A South Lake Drive in Lexington, SC 29072. The phone number is 803-667-5000. Its main business is IV hydration and wellness infusions, and medical weight loss is one of several services. The others include injections and boosters, NAD+ therapy, sclerotherapy for spider veins, Botox and Jeuveau, IV ozone therapy, and an oxygen bar. It serves the Midlands and names Columbia as well as Lexington.

Weight loss uses Wegovy (semaglutide) and Zepbound (tirzepatide). Its other weight loss options include phentermine and lipotropic injections. Weight loss visits are with a nurse practitioner, but the clinic does not name her. Google lists it as a medical spa with a 4.8 rating from 132 reviews. Its published hours conflict in places, so confirm before you go.

What does it cost?

It does not publish prices for weight loss, NAD+, Botox and Jeuveau, sclerotherapy, or its other services, and it does not state a consultation fee. The only prices it publishes are for memberships. A One Month VIP membership is $74 a month and renews automatically. The Quarterly VIP membership is $199 a quarter, or $66 a month. Members get 30% off infusions and injections, $15 monthly specials on injections and boosters that normally cost $30 to $60, and an unlimited oxygen bar. The quarterly plan adds 15% off packages and prescriptions, including weight loss, NAD+, Botox and Jeuveau, and sclerotherapy. The 30% discount excludes weight loss and NAD+ packages.

It does not say whether a weight loss price includes the medication, or whether it accepts insurance. Memberships have no contracts, and you can cancel any time. To stop a renewal, email the clinic within 5 days before the renewal date. Your benefits run until the next bill date.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who signs the weight loss prescription, since no prescriber is named. Ask whether the monthly weight loss price includes the medication or covers visits only, and what the medication costs each month. Ask whether the medication is brand name Wegovy or Zepbound or compounded. In its own words: "We do not source any medication for our patients if the pharmacy/company cannot legally do business in the State of South Carolina." Then ask which pharmacy fills it, and whether that pharmacy is a 503A or 503B facility.

Also ask for the consultation fee, what follow-up visits and lab work cost, whether any visit can be done by video, and whether the clinic bills insurance. If you are considering NAD+, ask its price, since none is published. Confirm the hours and the cancellation deadline in writing before you pay.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want IV hydration, Botox or Jeuveau, or spider vein treatment in Lexington, and you want a membership with no contract. For medical weight loss, it fits if you are comfortable getting written answers on who prescribes, what the full monthly cost is, and whether the medication is brand name, before you pay anything.
