What does it cost?
It does not publish prices for the weight loss program, the consultation or any treatment. In its own words: "Our practice is direct pay. Insurance is not applicable for this program." Its menu lists payment plans, but their terms are not stated. The weight loss program requires a consultation first and a minimum 3-month commitment that is highly encouraged. Memberships require an automatic draft or upfront payment. Unused monthly services do not roll over, and deposits are not refundable. Cancelling within 48 hours of an appointment brings a $75 charge, and a no-show can be charged up to 100% of the booked service.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes and signs your prescription, and whether the weekly check-ins are with that same nurse practitioner. Ask whether the monthly fee includes medication, which drug would be used, and whether it is brand-name or compounded. The practice has researched the most cost effective compound pharmacies for self paying customers, so ask which pharmacy would fill your prescription. Ask the cost of the consultation, lab work and follow-up visits, and whether the monthly weigh-ins are included. Ask what happens if the initial assessment finds you unsuitable, and whether the consultation fee is refunded. Finally, ask how to end the membership after three months and what notice you must give.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you are comfortable paying cash, can commit to at least three months, and want one practice that pairs a nurse practitioner led weight loss program with aesthetic treatments. If you need a full price list before committing, ask for it in writing before you book.
