What is Citrine Aesthetics?
Citrine Aesthetics is a medical spa at 25 Lambert Avenue in Cumberland, RI 02864. Most of its services are aesthetic, such as Botox, dermal fillers and Hydrafacial. It also runs medical programs for weight loss, hormone therapy, peptide therapy and NAD+ replacement, which is probably why you are reading about it.
Its named providers are Laura Canavan, FNP-C, MSN, RN, Michelle Bessette, RN, and Amanda Lombardi, BSN. In its own words: "Our certified nurses have advanced training in multiple aesthetic and wellness treatment areas," with the list running from neurotoxin to peptide therapy. The GLP-1 program names GLP-1, GLP-1 + GIP and GLP-1+GIP+Glucagon, and the last one is not FDA-approved at this time. Google shows a rating of 5 from 79 reviews. No hours are listed.
What does it cost?
The GLP-1 plan is $99 a week for the first 4 weeks, and the weekly price rises as the dose increases, by an amount the clinic does not state. GLP-1 + GIP starts at $110 a week for the same 4 weeks. Paid in advance, the first 3 months cost $1500 for GLP-1 or $1800 for GLP-1 + GIP, and that locks in the minimum weekly cost. It does not say whether the medication is included in any of these prices.
The first consultation is a free phone call with a health care provider, plus minimal blood work. Blood work from the last 90 days can be used, or the clinic draws it for a fee. Care is cash or credit only. It does not publish prices for BHRT, TRT, peptide therapy, NAD+ or IV infusions, and TRT pricing is by phone.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask which provider will prescribe and follow your GLP-1 treatment, since the clinic does not say. Ask whether the weekly price includes the medication, and what it becomes after the first 4 weeks. Ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded. Its BHRT is compounded, but nothing similar is stated for GLP-1 or the peptides.
Ask what follow-up visits and routine blood work cost, and whether the prepayment is refundable if you stop. Ask how the VIP Membership is priced and how to cancel it. For peptides, ask the FDA status of each one, since its peptide statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. Ask which visits can be done by phone and which must be in person. Put these questions to the clinic at 401-347-6529.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want aesthetic treatments and a medical weight loss, hormone or peptide program under one roof, and you are comfortable paying cash and calling for prices. If you need a published price list or insurance billing, ask those questions first, since the clinic takes cash or credit only.
