What is Elevation Medical Weight Loss?
Elevation Medical Weight Loss is a family-owned weight loss clinic with 16 or more locations across western Pennsylvania and West Virginia, including Pittsburgh, Cranberry, Washington, Weirton and Morgantown. Other offices include Green Tree, North Hills, South Hills, Monroeville, Robinson, Wexford, Bridgeville, Shadyside, Pleasant Hills and Upper St. Clair. Care is provided by Dr. Mye Cooper, DO, its medical director, and her team of licensed physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
Weight loss is its main work. It offers oral diet medication with phentermine, and weekly compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide injections, which you can take home in vials or get as in-office injections. Beyond weight loss, it offers testosterone therapy for men, sermorelin, NAD+ injections, vitamin shots and Botox. Telehealth visits are available for new and returning patients. Walk-ins are welcome, but it asks you to call ahead because provider hours can differ from office hours.
This listing is for its Washington office at 95 Trinity Point Dr.
What does it cost?
It publishes prices. Phentermine diet medication carries a $90 service fee for 30 days. Compounded semaglutide runs $265 to $450 per vial and tirzepatide $375 to $625 per vial, with the price rising with the dose. Semaglutide is also offered as an in-office injection, starting at $70 per injection. Sermorelin is $235 for 30 days, NAD+ injections are $250 per vial, and testosterone therapy is a $150 service fee per month. Provider visits are free, and it says there are no contracts or hidden fees. It doesn't say whether it takes insurance.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask which pharmacy compounds the semaglutide and tirzepatide, and whether the vial price covers everything or whether supplies and shipping cost extra. Ask whether the phentermine fee includes the medication. Ask whether you'll see Dr. Cooper or a physician assistant or nurse practitioner, and at which location. Ask what lab work is needed, especially for testosterone therapy, and what it costs. Ask how refills work by telehealth and how long mail orders take to arrive.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you live near one of its offices in western Pennsylvania or West Virginia and want compounded GLP-1 injections or diet medication with prices posted up front. If you want brand-name medication, ask before you book.
