About SANTÉ Aesthetics & Regenerative Medicine
What is SANTÉ Aesthetics & Regenerative Medicine?
SANTÉ is a medical spa at 210 NW 17th Avenue in Portland, Oregon, in the Historic Alphabet District. Most of its work is aesthetic: injectables and fillers, laser and radiofrequency treatments, PRP, facials, massage, body contouring and spa facilities. In its own words: "Specializing in regenerative medical aesthetics & bio-stimulation since 2014." Google lists it as a medical spa with a 4.6 rating from 159 reviews.
Medical weight loss is one of its services, sold as a monthly program. Dr. Marcea Wiggins, N.D., founder and medical director, is the one person named as prescriber. The program names semaglutide and tirzepatide. Scierra Orton, a registered nurse with nearly eight years of experience, leads the weight loss program and is training as a Family Nurse Practitioner, but no prescribing role is given for her. Hormone therapy is described, and the program also mentions peptide and NAD+ add-ons.
What does it cost?
The weight loss program is billed monthly, and the fee includes the medication. The first month is $450 for doses up to 3mg. After that it is $500 a month for up to 5mg, or $600 a month for 6mg or more. Four weekly injections are included, with an option to dropship for Oregon residents only. Program members get 10% off body sculpting. A $100 consultation deposit is required and can be applied toward the program.
A separate page gives a GLP-1 price of $1200 or more, which does not match these figures, so get the monthly number in writing. Peptide and NAD+ add-ons have no published prices. It does not say whether it accepts insurance. It does not publish cancellation or commitment terms for the weight loss program. The menu lists payment plans, but the weight loss program does not say whether they apply.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask which clinician signs the prescription for semaglutide or tirzepatide, and how often you would see that person. Ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded. The program describes its medication as "3x tested for purity and quality," which does not answer that question. Ask what the enhanced option with NAD or paroxetine adds and what it costs. Ask what lab work, follow-up visits and add-ons cost beyond the monthly fee. Ask how cancellation works and whether there is a minimum term. Ask whether telehealth is offered and whether insurance is accepted. Ask whether hormone therapy is available now. Ask the office to confirm its hours, because Monday is listed as 10am to 6pm in one place and 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM in another.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want medical weight loss alongside aesthetic or spa treatments in one office, and you are willing to get the prescriber, the medication type and the cancellation terms in writing before you pay the deposit. It is a weaker fit if your main need is hormone therapy, since the program lists that as a separate offering with details still to come.
