About Magnolia Aesthetics

What is Magnolia Aesthetics?

Magnolia Aesthetics is a medical aesthetics practice at 1915 NW Kearney St in Portland, Oregon. Most of its services are cosmetic: Jeuveau and Dysport injections, microneedling with or without PRP, dermal fillers, chemical peels, and IPL for skin tone and hair removal. It also offers B12 injections, NAD+ and glutathione, and medical weight loss, which it calls a new service. In its own words: "a clinically supervised weight loss program that combines medical expertise with personalized care." The program uses tirzepatide (Zepbound, Mounjaro) and semaglutide (Ozempic, Rybelsus, Wegovy). Magnolia does not list hormone therapy or peptide therapy.

Its team page names three providers: Madeline Grandy, MD, Ali Newhall, FNP, and Nicole Conger, PA-C. Dr. Grandy's bio says she works as a primary care provider in Portland, but Magnolia does not say which of the three prescribes weight loss medication. Google rates the business 5 from 17 reviews.

What does it cost?

Weight loss starts at $300 a month. If a patient needs a higher dose after the first month, the monthly price rises to $500. Magnolia does not say whether the $300 includes the medication. The consultation is free and lasts 30 minutes. Magnolia does not say whether it accepts insurance or how cancellation works. It offers a Cherry payment plan for treatments paid over time, but does not say whether that covers weight loss.

Aesthetic services are priced separately: Jeuveau at $12 per unit, Dysport at $6 per unit, dermal fillers at $550 per syringe, VI Peel at $275 per peel, and dermaplaning at $100 as an add-on. B12 injections are $25, and NAD+ and glutathione start at $100.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask which provider will prescribe and manage your weight loss medication, and who you will see at follow-up visits. Ask whether the $300 monthly price includes the medication, and what moves you to the $500 rate. Ask whether the medication is the brand-name product or another version. Ask what the monthly follow-ups cost, since Magnolia describes them but does not price them. Ask whether telehealth is available, whether insurance applies, and how you cancel. Ask whether the Cherry plan covers weight loss. Magnolia does not publish hours, so call 503-568-1749 before you book.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want weight loss medication and skin treatments handled at one Portland office, and you are willing to confirm the monthly total, the prescriber, and the cancellation terms before you pay. It is a weaker fit if you need hormone or peptide therapy, insurance billing, or published hours, since Magnolia does not list any of them.
