About Optimization Clinic
What is Optimization Clinic?
Optimization Clinic is a cash-pay integrative practice with offices in Medford and Eagle Point, Oregon. In its own words: "a cash based only integrative clinic empowering people to optimize their health." Isabel LeMasters, FNP-BC, MSN, RN prescribes, and has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2020.
The clinic offers men's health and testosterone replacement therapy, women's hormone replacement therapy, medical weight loss, and peptide therapy, with telehealth for follow-up. Weight loss has the most detail. It includes oral medications such as phentermine, topiramate, bupropion, naltrexone and metformin, oral tirzepatide and semaglutide, and weekly in-office injections. Peptide therapy includes sermorelin. Google lists a 5 rating from 20 reviews.
This listing is for its Medford office at 843 E Main St Ste 201.
What does it cost?
The entry weight loss program is $150 a month. Optimization Clinic does not say whether medication is included in that price. Tirzepatide tablets run $280 to $360 for a 30-day supply, depending on dose. Sublingual semaglutide is $300 for the starter pack and $280 a month for maintenance. Injection programs start with a $100 initial consultation and initial injection of your choice. The oral tier has a $75 initial consultation that does not cover the tablets.
Women's hormone therapy is a $250 initial consultation and $155 a month. It does not publish prices for men's health or testosterone therapy. Memberships of 3, 6 or 12 months come with 5%, 7.5% or 10% off. A free 15-minute phone consultation is offered before you book. A $50 deposit is due at booking, and it is refunded only with 72 hours' notice to change or cancel. The clinic is cash only, and it does not say whether HSA cards or financing are accepted.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who signs each prescription and how follow-up works between visits, since phone, telehealth and in-person follow-up are offered as needed. Ask whether the $150 monthly fee includes the medication. Ask whether the tirzepatide and semaglutide are brand-name or compounded, since the clinic works with compounding pharmacy partners.
Ask about the other agents. One service description reads "utilizing Testosterone, Nandrolone, Growth Hormone secretagogue Peptides, HCG." Nandrolone and HCG do not appear among the medications listed elsewhere, so ask whether they are offered and what each costs.
Ask what lab work comes before a first prescription and what it costs, since no lab price is published. Ask how telehealth works for patients outside Oregon, which is not stated. Ask for office hours, because none are published. Finally, ask for the cancellation terms in writing before you pay the $50 deposit.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you plan to pay cash, want a nurse practitioner who prescribes and follows up, and will get your questions answered in writing before you pay the deposit. It is a weaker fit if you need posted hours, telehealth outside Oregon, or a men's health price before you book, since none of those are published yet.
